GNDU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After graduation students are placed as companies visit our colleges like tata etc. The majority of them get placed. I would like to give competitive exams after graduation. Like UPSC, rbi and many more. The highest package of our department is of 900000 and lowest is of 200000.

Only in the final year, you are eligible for placement. AKUMS, pharma, Wipro, etc are here for giving placement to students and giving multiple offers. Approximately 60-70? students get placement. I will try for GATE for my M.Sc.

Economics interests me a lot, that's the reason I choose economics also it includes computer and I love studying computer applications. The class intake was 100 students and qualification of teachers is good our department has like 3 professors, 5-6 assistant professors and many PhD scholars are there. The system is yearly and semesters are there 6-6 months. Course need the timely study and one with great interest can crack it and score well.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit GNDU like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, KPMG, and Amdocs. Last year these companies offered different salary packages ranging from 4lac to 11lac per annum. Here almost all the students get placed except for those who are not interested in placements. I wish to get placed on campus and work after completing my degree.

For me, economics is a very important subject and personally, my interest was towards it because it teaches us how to run an economy, There is mainly equilibrium in the strength of the class, Teachers are very cooperative and they are having interactive ways of teaching. Usually, in a semester, there are two examinations, one is mid and sem other is the final examination. It wholly depends on the student how who studies for passing the examination if he is regular in his classes so it is very easy for him to have good grades in examination.

This course provides good knowledge. I wanted to explore the field of economics, and business scenarios so I opted for this course. It gives you knowledge about your economy, how your economy works, how to maintain balance in your economy, how to increase the national income, and how to run the financial system. The faculty is very efficient, skilled, and active. There are about 400 students in the department and 10 faculty members. The faculty is well educated. All are PhD teachers. They use new, innovative, and effective methods of teaching. Workshops are conducted, and assignments are prepared by students. In a semester , midterms and finals are conducted. If we prepare our subjects in routine then it's very easy to get good marks.

I have Interest in chemical sciences that is why I choose this field. Faculty is involved in research field. Way of teaching very practical. Exams were held two times in one semester. It is very difficult to pass in exam.

Highest average package as per company offered are 7 lakh to 8 lakh. 70% students are getting placements annually. After completion of my degree, I am starting my preparation for competitive exams.

There is a high chance of placement in this university. As it is one of the best universities. After 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. In chemical manufacturing, analysts had visited with numerous job opportunities. one lakh is the minimum package given to the deserving students. 70% of the students get placed. I want to do Master's after the bachelor's degree
