Fees and Financial Aid:

The tution fee is 1,25,000 per semester. There are two semesters in an academic year. Apart from the tution fees, the hostel fee + mess fees + pther extras is 31,310 per semester. This amounts to 1,56,310 per semester or 3,12,620 per annum. The fees is adjusted according to inflation every year so expect a slight increase. There is a purely merit based scholarship given according to the performance in the entrance test. This scholarship includes full tution fees and a stipend of 5000rs every month. The fees is same for every category. The fees is on the higher side definitely but given the amazing professors and the exposure here is well worth it.

You can check the Admissions page of the official website of CMI about the availability of scholarships to students. Approximately 30-40 students are waived off their tuition fee and are expected to pay only the mess and accommodation fees of the hostel which is just Rs 25,000 of 1 semester (as of 2020-2021).

Yes, I opted for Kvpy by iisc Bangalore, you have to give a scholarship test for this and top 1500 people get the scholarship of 80000 per year.
