IMU Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This college was known to me very much as my elder brother passed from this college. I got admission into this college after securing good rank in the IMU CET examination. 60% score in your class 12th examination is the minimum requirement for boards in this college.

The entrance is condicted and the name if exam is IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) exam. The admissions are done purely on the basis of IMU CET exam and the cutoff for the college is good. You have to get good marks in order to get into this college.

Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies has really taught all the pros and cons of being a marine engineer. With a ship present in the campus the practical work is encouraged. Faculty members are really helpful in the same and really initiate interactions. Ambience adds up to its good points.

The journey with Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies has given me an immense pleasure. I have learnt so much with the same that the learnings are just irreplaceable. With all the best ambience it is structured well for the students.

The admission to the Engineering course at our college was via a personal interview conducted by top faculty members. They ask you questions related to your interest towards the marine engineering field and ask some questions revolving the topic. After interview, your selection is done on the basis of your performance during interview and your 12th grade marks in PCM

The infrastructure is so good. The teachers experienced and they know how to treat the students. The education provided here is so great. The students are so disciplined. The education is so great. Facilities provided to the students are so good.

To get admission in this college the student should have passed his/her 12th with more than 60% marks in physics, mathematics, chemistry and english as compulsory. The student should score at least 50% in english subject to get admission.

Maritime courses are a prestige to pursue but so is the prestigious competition which thousands of students face. And only some people achieve success in the race. I had to appear for MEO IV class entrance test and get a satisfactory score to get accepted.

This college was my best decision. I had some queries regarding this college management as I found some bad reviews from some students. But lastly when I saw everything from my eyes all my queries got dissolved here. Here's fees is very hiked but it's totally totally worth it

My college offered lots of pre sea and post sea programs for the students whole over the world. The shortest duration courses was certification courses and longest ones b.tech degree. I took admission in b.tech program by giving entrance exam called IMU-CET.
