Life of a student at KITS

Faculty:

faculty to student ratio is fair in my opinion and the relationship between students are also good as they help with any relevant queries we have, my favourite faculties were Dr. Reya Issac and Dr. Levin Anbu as they have guided me with academics as well as my character development, i would consider them as the best faculties and there are no faculties i hate . exams are conducted pretty often with 3 internals and 1 end semester exam.personally i think internals are quite easy to score and end semesters are tough becuase i feel there isnt a fair amount of time provided.

A review about my college

The faculty to student ratio is not balanced there are shortages in faculty and sometimes inexperienced faculty are brought in to teach complex subjects. The exams are difficult and there are only around 60% students clearing the exams and the faculty is just fine nothing to be proud of.

The faculties and students have very good rapo for some students but for some that will be different mostly faculty members are very choosy like some faculty members only choose their native language students and avoid different language students and also I like my mentor Immanuel who cares all our mentees and he won't show that partiality and the faculty I don't like is martin victor he's very boring person like he lags the topic and he won't give marks properly and we have 3 internals every month one internal and finally semester the intenals will be like first will be mcq 2nd written 3rd projects and some written this will be medium and most of the students will get pass and also most of the students are getting failed due to strict invisilation

the faculty to student ratio is okay okay. the factulties are mostly tamil speaking, approaching them is not the hardest part but communicating is. some factuties are straight up rude while others are kind. the exams for mid terms are easy... endsem is preety hard. they have multiple regulations for the exams itself. the girls are not supposed to mingle with guys within the campus at all in general normal days. along with that during exams, girls have the pin their shawls up in the tops. they will check for everything. they are not allowed to use the washrooms during the exams even though the exams ae in the mornig and typically is very cold out there.

Their guidance helped me develop a deeper understanding of ciore subjects and build confidence in applying theoretical knowledge in practicval settings.
One of the best aspects of my college experience was the approachability and supportiveness of the faculty. Most of my professors were not only knowledgable in their respective subjects but also genuinly inter4sted in helpingh students grow.
They were available for doubts, offered mentorships for projects and ofteen encouraged us to participate in seminars, workshops, and internships.

The faculty to student ratio in my college was fairly balanced, with most departments having and adequate number of teaching staff to handle lectyures, labs, and student support. On average, for every 20-25 students, there was at least one subject faculty, especially in core subjects like biotechnology and chemistry

My Experience

The faculty here is good (except for a few). They teach very well and are available all around to clear doubts and for any help. There are a total 4 exams. 3 internals and 1 semester exam in each semester.

Karunya University: Insight from the perspective of an Undergraduate

There are mentors assigned for every student and each mentor has around 12 students. The student to faculty ratio is around 6:27. All faculties are very supportive and easy to appraoch. There are 3 Internal Assessments conducted per month and the end semester examination. My favourite faculties are Dr. Muthukumar and Dr. Ridling as they are very supportive and also sincere in their work

one of the good universities you could ever ask for.

Faculties are very helpful and we can reach to them whenever we need any help. They give us hands on training as well. Number of exams per semester differs. Cannot rate exams on the scale from easy to moderate accurately, differs based on each subject .
