The admission eligibility criteria were a graduation degree, which I already had and submitted it to the college for their paperwork. The admission department was co-operative and helped me get admission.
I went to college and filled the form and submitted my documents. After the submission of my documents, my name was on the merit list which was displayed a few weeks later. Then I had to give a personal interview to the professors.
The college has two major selection criteria through which the student is granted admission. One of them is the marks in class 12th and entrance test. Once a student qualifies both then they are called for counselling.
There was no such entrance exam back then to get admission into B.Sc. Zoology, It was purely based on the academic record. I had applied for this course in other colleges too and was lucky enough to get admission in this college.
My admission to this college was done after I grabbed a copy of form from the office and submitted the form with all the necessary information. I then waited for the merit list to be released. After two weeks of wait, I found my name in the merit list and I had to be present at college for further admission process and confirm my admission.
For the admission in this college, you really need to score high in your senior secondary school examination. After that submit the details in the college by submitting your application form and later they will inform regarding your admission.
There is as such no negative remarks of this college. It is one of the potential colleges in TamilNadu, which can spread the value of Gurukulam education to students. How the education makes the students disciplined and be worthy enough to start a career on their own.
The allotment of the seats in this course is done on the basis of merit of the candidate applying. There is no entrance exam, after filling an online application form, I had to wait for a few days till I got an official notification from the college regarding my selection.
The college had been a very good place for me to grow myself and also to make a very strong professional career which will get stronger with time by keeping in mind the lessons and the guidance of my faculties.
The thing that I miss most about my college is the faculties and the wonderful guidance that they gave to us. Sometimes I wish that I had the same guidance in my life so that I may be able to make more structured decisions in my professional career.
