Good faculty: the faculty are well experienced and help students in better understanding
The students are eligible for placements after completing the 3rd year in the 4 year course with the good cgpa, many companies like zoho, amazon etc.
The scholarships are good, try to score good marks in the first semester, because the college will check your marks.

Dislikes

We have nsp scholarship support fron college college fees 450000 per year hostel fees 100000 per yesr fees structure is quit higher no financial assistance no stipend from college side no campus for bds.
I don't like the central library in our college, and i don't like one thing that there is no stage in our college
The hostel room are not good and water facilities in hostel is not good

The originality of the college

Likes

I need no improvement in these colage as all was good
I have been well settled with this colage campus
All the faculty was good enough for teaching

Dislikes

The hod have been behaving rude for the students
They were not celebrating holi ,pongal functions
Some kind of rowdyism where also found inside the campus

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester the students where eligible for placement and students are getting good companies land the names of the company visited our colage is hcl ,cognizant ,oracle, amozon 93 percent of students where getting placed every year I will going for placement

In my colage the improvement I need is to plant trees
All teachers were good and they have been talented

They make us to. Walk in sun because of no trees

From the 6 th semester students are eligible for the placements,hcl, oracle,amazon, congnizant highest was 53 lpa and lowest was 4 lpa, 93 percent of students were getting placed every year I also going to get placed

Likes

Food is really nice because they didn't afford amount for food but they provide veg and non veg with unlimited
Environment of a college is very nice and the classroom are good
At last culturals the Students things ofcourse Sathyabama culturals is really awesome experience they got a best fire works celebrities

Dislikes

I had some bad thing is they got special treatment for csc specialisation students

Actually the placement was really nice to be because allmost the passed pacement package was 42 lpa per annum they also give placement training from 2nd sem they afford 14000 for placement training it is optional

reputation and accredition: it has been accredited by the national board of accredition and the national assessment and accredition counsil
placements: the college has a decent placement record
research oppurtunities:sathyabama encourages research activities,and the university has various reasearch centres

Dislikes

strict management:administration is a bit too strict
high fees:the fee structure is high comared to other private universities
crowded campus:due to large student population the campus can often feel overcrowded

many top and international companies recruit from sathyabama the university has a dedicated placement cell that provides career counsling sathyabama has a decent placement record with a significant percentage of dtudents getting placed every year

in our college the library is very big and that library all books are available in that library and also ac system also provided in that library
in our college the environment is very good and lot of trees are there in our library and gives us the frsh air and good health
in our college the placements are very good and infrasruture is also very good so many labs are also available in our college

Dislikes

in our college management is very stright and we have so many rules and regulations are there in our college and faculty also very stright
in our college bouncers are very stright and not allowed the students without uniform and faculty also very stright in our college
in our college the fees structure in our college is very high and hostel fees are also too high when compared to other colleges

My College experience

Likes

Curriculum: I loved the focus on intersection of Linguistics and computer science,courses were relevant and as per market standard.
Learning facilities: the computer labs were state of the art and the library had an extensive collection of resources in different department.
Location: The campus were located at the vibrant city with a thriving tech scene, which made it easy to find internships.

Dislikes

social life : while I enjoyed the clubs I was involved in , I sometime felt it was hard to connect with other students at at deeper level
Administrative issues: Ocassionally, dealing with administrative tasks (registration, financial etc..)
Infrastructure (some areas): while the computer labs were excellent , some of the older classrooms need to be renovated, the WIFI is also sometime unrachable.

Placement is quite decent in my college specially for Circuital Branches approx more than 90% students placed in my batch with avg. package of more than 5 LPA company like TCS,INFOSYS and many mass recuriter visit for campus from 6th semester student can take part in placement interview and internships.

Sathyabama: a goodie bad decision

Likes

A positive initiative by the college is to provide free lunch both veg and non veg for all students every day without failing. This is beneficial for many kids who come from afar or for kids who aren't financially blessed to eat from the canteen
Another important attribute is the ease of transportation that is the student can reach the college with ease due to its huge bus system that targets reaching every crook and corner of chennai

Dislikes

Faculty that you can actually connect with are probably a handful other than them the rest are moody police officers
The restrooms of commerce block are worse than many public restrooms with no proper water supply....
Although the college claims to have 100+ clubs the students really aren't given the right exposure to its clubs...also any dreams of sporty adventures must be thrown away as you cannot participate unless you are a hosteler

Im not sure about campus recruitment... but through what i heard from seniors and faculty the campus placements are really good provided you put in the efforts.... my plan is to pursue ca and join my articleship after college

The College provides free bus travelling around the city of chennai.
And also this college provides a good quality food as compared to other private institutions
Good Culture and freedom provide to the students .

Dislikes

Very fast teaching , as the staff doesn't care whether the students have understood the concepts
Teaching staff needs to improve as they doesn't suit current technical companies requirement
more native language (Tamil) is chosen as medium of interaction

Placement Experience:

The placements point of view is average as the college provides more of non technical companies as the are not benefited for the amount pay they are giving to the college. The technical companies also visit the college but hiring is very low

Likes

Food quality was the best and also well kept mess and canteens.
Faculty and staff were really friendly and helpful.
Infrastructure is too good immaculate buildings and environment is heaven

Dislikes

Nothing was bad exceppt few dogs roaming around campuses.

Placement Experience:

The placements of SIST is the best ,almost 95% people get placed at sathyabhama .Large number of comapies visit for placements including big tech giants Google,Amazon etc. My plans is to work at an IT company after passing out.

Campus is more safe for girls and there is bus facility
Staffs are well trained and it is easy to understand the concept

Placement Experience:

The placement training are given from the 2nd semester so that it is easy to understand and there is more time for the preparation process and they give more partice for communication process and real time interview

I'm a final year ECE student at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and my experience has been truly wonderful! The faculty are highly qualified and supportive, always encouraging students beyond textbooks. Labs are well-equipped with regular practical sessions. The placement cell is very active with top companies like Amazon, HCL, Cognizant and Wipro visiting campus. Highest package was 41 LPA. Cultural fests and technical events make campus life vibrant and enjoyable.

Really liked the college overall ???? The campus and environment are good, and placements are pretty strong which is a big plus. Hostel facilities are not great, but they’re manageable—not too bad. Overall, a good experience!

I am currently studying at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. The university has a good campus with modern infrastructure and well-equipped labs. The faculty members are supportive and help students in academics as well as skill development. It also provides good opportunities through technical events, clubs, and placements. Overall, it offers a positive learning environment for students.
