Our faculty members are very professional and good teaching and presentation slides are very nice.
The scholarship opportunities are not great but for financially backward students help is provided to support them.
Yes, the overall experience is good and the college campus is also good and well maintained.

Dislikes

They are quite approachable, yet they restrict a bit in teaching as they see others as competition.
There are no projectors inside the classroom for educational purposes.
Less than 25% of the students know english. rest all you have to deal with is incorrect grammar and wrong spellings.

Mostly i liked part is good atmosphere also good faculties iam malayali iam afraid to go but in chennai people accept well also helping mentality also teachers help in malayalam also they give revision class in weekly
They give importance in sports and arts also they conduct cultures yearly also internal meet with other college. medical life is tough so they help through sports and they give practice also they help well in sports
For study purposes they give extra classes and practicals for exam preparation also they help in study give classes for preparation exam teacher help for prepara

Dislikes

Food is not good as a hosteler i dont like food they provide chicken in weekly
They are too strict in uniform also compelsory need to shave beard and cut hair weekly that is too frustrating
Hostel room is not good toilet is unclean also too hot in summer season

Management is an art of living and in business, it is the most important aspect of one wants to take bring business out for big. Principal of management is one our main subjects in first semester and my favourite as well Ruchi tiwari is the assigned professor for the subject and she is excellent in what she does.

My College experience: An Honest Review of PSG INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND RESEARCH

Likes

The infrastructure, the standard of education, friendly staff.
The college dean is so friendly and supports for extracurricular activities upon request.
The college campus is beautiful with all the trees and shades. I like the sports grounds, there are 3 large grounds.

Dislikes

The canteen, the parking area for students.
Need to walk for like 15 mins to get out of campus to collect Swiggy orders.
Public transport facilities is quite less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus is very vast for the 1st yr mbbs and 2nd yr mbbs. I need to push myself to pass the exams. The teaching from this institute is very helpful to give your best at university exams. The practical classes will be very interesting and hands on experiences with Mannequin's are provided. General ward classes are taken, we learn from patients during ward rounds.

Likes

Good classroom facilities and infrastructure
Good place like coimbatore pleasent environment and climate
Good reptuted institutiona from 1960 and have good number of cases in both inpatient and outpatient department

Dislikes

Mostly all the things are good nothing to be disliked
Some of the practical difficulty are the colleges and hospital are suited inside
Its always from hospital around 9 km so we need get ready early to attend clinical posting

The curriculum is tough and more thing to study...now it is called as cbme curriculum..it ha clinical posting in the morning and the theory classes in the afternoon session..exam difficulty caries according to subject and interest of tge person towards the subject

Life in GSMCH

Likes

College fee is affordable for middle class students
Faculties are well experienced and qualified
College and hostel distance is nearby and transportation is very easy

Dislikes

College is located in a remote area. Hence chance of tourism is very low
College is little old. Hence there may be little visible cracks in the building
Many street dogs are present around the college campus which may be scary

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is not about the curriculum it is about the mental satisfaction we get from the job. Hence I preferred this course. The curriculum prepares us for the competitive World as there are many medical graduates per year. The curriculum will be based on development of good practical skills for the graduates. There should be improvement needed in the hospital set up for advanced treatment and college buses are very less for field visit. There will also be 3 examinations per month. Exam timings will be of 3 hrs . Difficulty level depend on the subject and topic. Major exams difficulty will be of moderate level.

The college maintain the great library because they contains all type of semester and non semester books
The staffs can clear the all type of doubt

In the college has some more distance to walk in main road to reach the college
No needed proper bus stop because the college do not give a campus bus
They are do not give the proper canteen .

Sports event by the management which conducted annually
Some staffs teach very well in both labaratory classes and theory as well
Unity of us i.e coordination of class mates (frnds) admire me

Dislikes

Some staffs are very rude as they target students specifically
Not allow to be liberal with girls, if some see a boy and girl goes along they assume wrongly and made the students to feel bad
Even the staffs are not acquire as much knowledge over the subject which affect the students life

Admission to MBA course is done based on entrance exam and the candidate nees to have any medical UG course to be eligible.
