MGR Medical University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements conducted in our college are from prestigious company but am not sure of the companies. The average package offered ranges from 2 to 3 lakhs as starters and the students of eigth semester are eligible for attending the placements.

We are the first semester after a long time. Then the syllabus and curriculum has very tigjt schedule. We are working on it in the holidays because of that we are reaching the goals. Very difficult for the semester batch to write the exam in 6 months but there are lot of other requirements.

The curriculum consists of toxicological screening and animal handling methods and the histology this is what I looked into while choosing the course these can be useful in R & D and every other fields with an valuable knowledge and extraordinary soft skills

in course curriculum this course is very taugh because in this course we can't neglate a single thing because every this is related to the other thing so we read each and every topic mbbs is a passion to serve the country

I personally choose the course because of influenced by my uncle. I was unaware of mbbs and medical field till 10 class then my uncle helped me to guide and put me in Allen coaching Then curriculum is very tough and it designed in the way to make u a proper doctor who can deal with society and work for benefits of society Area of improvement is may be course duration.it is a 5.5 year long course only in undergraduate level so it can be shorter to 4.5 or atleast 5 University exams are held in the last of year only once a time and difficulty level is moderate

In medical college the curriculum changes frequently and they add new things frequently. They conduct one exam in a year not like a semester exam its a university exam. If u fail in that exam supplementary exam will be conducted in 3 month

There will be one final exam at the end of each year. The course will be very exhausting. In present days, it is difficult to handle real life situations.there are many illogical medico legal cases.the course is not worth the effort

As I choose this course because I've tried for NEET exams and I didn't get in councelling som my mom suggested me this course. Now I'm really satisfied to study this course. Also our college has its own hospital so we have real time experience and study many things with the doctors and the patients

We need more professors to teach practical aspects of mbbs , because in internship you will literally do what staff nurse and sisters do in other colleges,you won't be doing your internship work that is mentioned in your curriculum. If you get a kind pg who has time to teach, you will learn otherwise you are just doing ward boy job Professors act like they teached you everything for your practicals and you are not doing properly in reality it will be the first time they even saw you. If you have kind and caring friends who teaches in last minute count yourself the luckiest peroson because during exams boys will behave like girls if you know what I mean

The curriculum is set in such a way that we learn both the practical and the theoretical aspects together. The exams are usually yearly with both the practical and theoretical. The curriculum sets as for real life situations.
