Our faculty members are very professional and good teaching and presentation slides are very nice.
The scholarship opportunities are not great but for financially backward students help is provided to support them.
Yes, the overall experience is good and the college campus is also good and well maintained.

Dislikes

They are quite approachable, yet they restrict a bit in teaching as they see others as competition.
There are no projectors inside the classroom for educational purposes.
Less than 25% of the students know english. rest all you have to deal with is incorrect grammar and wrong spellings.

Feels like small amount of extra pressure when working in hospital
Some people with different characters while working in department in hospital
No leaves for festival , as a Hindu nation we expect leave on big festivals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core curriculum is made by the MGR University,Chennai. Every year students have a set of syllabus for theory & practical . Everything is included, even from nursing college there are procedures that i have learnt.it will be so useful. Everything they are teaching here is good Classes will be held 5days in a week

Likes

This college is perfect for the ones who wants to learn
The social interaction is the only thing we look forward to
The faculties are almost helpfull in case of studies

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs to be improved for better environment
Special considerations is necessary for the co curricular activities along with the studies
Programs could be conducted by the management so as to cheer up the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is the best for the ones who are willing to treat people mainly with heart issues. The curriculum entirely covers the whole aspects of cardiac related machines and also diseases The exams are conducted per year and it would last for 3 hours and the exam is for 100 marks ( written)

Life in KGMC

Likes

I liked the way they treated us with dignity and justice... They give respect
The scholarship is very useful for the book charges
They give first preference for us while waiting in clinical site

Dislikes

The road construction was very bad while traveling
The sports wise the college is somewhat ok only not upto the level
Case coming is very less compared to other college

Insight to GDMC

Likes

The hospital ,academic block and hostel everything is in same compound, the college is in middle of dharmapuri town makes easy accessibility for basic goods, railway station and bus stand is nearby , in walkable distance
There is good experienced teachers and gives good importance to academics, especially in first year , mentors are alloted and are very free to approach
The classrooms , labs and academic block is neat , boys girls ratio is good almost 50:50

Dislikes

The overall campus is small less than 30 acre , there is a lack of proper ground for sports and entertainment purpose
College gives more importance to academics, other leisure activities, social activities are less compared to other colleges
The college is situated in dharmapuri which is not a big town so lifestyle wont be as expected here , more like a village side

The course is beautifully structured , gives importance to each subject and help in integrating it There is enough clinical exposure , students are posted in.clincal posting from second year ownwards Theory classes are good in first year In second third and final year i felt it would have been better if they give more importance for clincals rather than theory classes Monthly exams are good

An Insight to govt dharmapuri medical college

i like how they encourage my academic performance. they motivate me to excel in theory and practical aspect. my academic performance is reviewed monthly by the teaching faculties.
the teaching faculty comprises of well experienced doctors who has a excellent teaching styles. the mode of teaching in theory classes is through PPTs , seminars and symposium. the practical classes provides hands on exposure
the patient exposure is excellent and we are exposed to a wide varieties of medical cases. we also have exposure to different presentations of same cases which helps us expand our practical knowledge about it

Dislikes

sports and art activities are less promoted compared to other colleges
hostel rules are moderately strict for girls compared to boys
internship duties are continuously longer making it slightly hectic

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a course that receive high level of respect in the community. it provides a comprehensive knowledge of medical subjects. the oppurtunity to deal with real patients is fascinating. it enhances the problem solving and critical thinking required to diagnose and treat the patients.this course also helps me in narrowing down and choosing the specialty i want to pursue in the future. it provides many research oppurtunities. the frequency and timing of exams helps me in regular revision of subjects.

The campus is huge and beautiful and spacious roads and walking paths , grounds to play , i head a very good experience
The lecture halls are air conditioned amd spacious , with lcd boards for lectures

Dislikes

The college sports facility is a bit on the bad side , only a single ground for all the sister colleges and it is a lot packed no indoor facilities

I got into the college through counselling and the whole curriculum is designed by nmc and mgr university for tamilnadu taking the nmc guidelines into account , so if u get this college through councelling u can join here

The parient exposure is really good as the patient load is very high
decent college life is present in this college
All faculties are of good expertise.teaches well

Student council is not very strong and active
College functions are very few over the college
Studente face soo many restrictions in the campus

We all know mbbs curriculum is tough. New curriculum the cbme curriculum makes sure that we are ready to face the upcoming competition well. Exams in tamil nadu medical colleges have no gaps between the papers . Which is very stressful

There was no complaints about the teaching aspects, teachers are perfectly teaching... The university exam timing is 3 hours I choose this course for service aspects, After I joined this course,I love this very much

In and outs of PSGIMSR

Likes

The infrastructure of college is top tier by national standards. The campus is small but has all basic amenities. Multiple grounds and one indoor stadium.
The faculty are mostly helpful and at top of their field. The teaching techniques are very effective and up to dated.
The cultural and sports events of the college is too good. The months of April and May is filled with such activities.

Dislikes

Some teachers are rude and unwelcoming. And tend to not care but they are not many in number.
The inter college events are very rare in our college.
The location is little away from the main city. So good places are little far.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The clinical exposure and theoretical knowledge is top notch in our curriculum. The application based teaching is what attracted me to this course. We are systematically prepared to see and help patients. But some irrelevant parts of the curriculum can be trimmed to reduce the load on students. Exams are very frequent Almost once every fortnight.

Some teachers are good and they are giving some more time to prepare for exams
Good Hospital training in their own hospital
The doctors in the hospital teach us properly

Dislikes

There is no proper infrastructure and building
The lab is not properly equipped and there is no freedom of students to even go out of the hostel not even allowed to roam around the campus
There is no freedom and there is no hygiene and the students are very depressed without even comming out of their room only going out for holidays

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this as a passion yeah the curriculum is hard but good for real world practice and there should be given at least 6 months to complete a sem the exams are for 3 hours whichay contain 3 subjects it's bit rush for the students, its in a moderate level

Admission to MBA course is done based on entrance exam and the candidate nees to have any medical UG course to be eligible.
