University of Madras Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Numerous companies and industries from different sectors such as banking ,commerce, Telemarketing etc.. have visited our institution and conducts campus interview from March onwards . During February our college arranges for training programmes to prepare students for the campus interviews ( ie : mock interview, preparation of resume etc.. ). Lot's of our fellow students get offers from multiple companies during the placement program with a minimum package of 15000 to 25000 ( ?180000 to ?300000 annually ) as starting Salary . All these activities are conducted by our college placement cell

The course curriculum is well structured and covers avoid range of topics relevant to the industries. The focus on chasing studies with related examples. Regular quiz and assignment, seminars will be conducted.

In the final year they were egiliable for the campus placement No of offers made so can't know about it So many company were offered the jons to the students to our college 80%percentage were getting placement I m eager to study second degree for my higher studies

As a final year b.com student,the placements at my college-the placements at my college are pretty good,considering the strong reputation of our institution and quality of eduction we receive.while campus placements arenot guaranteed ,our college has a dedicated placements cell that works hard to invite top companies to recruit our students. Eligiblity for campus placements: Typically,students become eligible for campus placements,including top MNC and indian companies etc,, a total of 150+offers were made ,with an average of 2-3 offers per student. Highest and average package: The highest package offered was around ?12 lks per annum by MNC and TCS-?6-10lakhs per annum Infosys-?6-9 lakhs per annum . Percentage of students getting placements: According to our college placements statistics around 80-90% of students who opted for campus placements got placed in top companies.

Place is very nice in the college there are many companies had came for the placement and intership there is many support for us in the college Placement and intership in more useful for us it will be trained

The curriculam is good and we gained enough knowledge. The syllabus gave us a real time requirement for this field and we had hands in experience by going to trips accordingly to the subject. The exam timing are helpful to prepare for the main examination.

The curriculum that the department of economics provides was very vast and has many aspects in it. It structures a student from top to bottom . It is structured in accordance with the development happening in the world.

We are having placement cell with placement opportunities and in third year sixth semester i am eligible for placement interviews, i m planning to apply for next degree in my feild of education. placement training will be provided

The placement of my college is oki . because mre placement is not there in my college . But th le student is easily selectwd in interview process . The placement is only for voices process . So I dissatisfied for the placement.

In my college the placement opportunities are useful to the student . But most of the placement only for voice process. the placement students can get tha CTC for one month is 12k only . But many of the student are selected easily in placement.
