- The tutors are so impressive and knowledgeable
- The value added course they provide is very useful
- Very liberal and gives importance for culturals
Dislikes
- The timings are bad 11 30 to 4 45 it's not the morning and also not the night
- Often they ask money for events and that's not fair
- Canteen food is average and u can't go out for lunch
Placement Experience:
Placement training is given from 3rd year and most of the students are placed here and no the companies that comes for placement are multinational company and very renowned companies like TCS and CTS hcl

- The staff here are very friendly and clear your doubts instantly.
- The canteen is very hygienic and reasonably priced
- The campus and the students are very chill and welcoming
Dislikes
- Maintaining 85 attendance is a huge task
- The corrections are strict in semester exams
- The ventilation in the classroom is very bad

I would rate the course curriculum as highly relatable and comprehensive. The reason behind me choosing this particular course is the balance between theoretical and practical knowledge. The course is well aligned with the real time practices of the companies.

- The faculty at the college are really friendly and also well experienced in their field, they encouraged students to approach them at anytime they feel difficulties with their studies or even with personal issues they are always present to help them
- The class environment is really nice and peaceful
- Mcc also has an enormous ground for sports and other activities
Dislikes
- Since the campus is massive walking around could get quite tiring
- The checking in and out of gates can get frustrating at times
- Two wheelers are not allowed inside campus without prior permission

Since I took up literature I'll say the curriculum met all the needs adiquately it wasn't over the top nor was it insufficient. They gradually teach you the things you might need in your pg as well almost like a warm up

- The Traditions which are being followed by Halls(Hostels) & departments are really the best.
- The overall culture inside the college is unmatched.
- Professors are well experienced, also they are following the traditions which makes the campus special.
Dislikes
- Some minor improvements are needed in Canteen(students centre)
- The recent switch of attendance from manual note to mobile software.
Placement Experience:
Campus Placements are decent. There were some really good companies - TCS, Calvin Klein, Amazon have visited and offered 1000+ job offers to the students in my past three years. And many other small companies, startups also were there.
BTW, I have other plans - UPSC after the graduation

- The infrastructure is amazing. It's filled with lush and green environment which provides positivity
- Mcc is known for its culturals. Each department and each hall has their own cultural event every year. The college has various clubs.
- The campus life is worth it, students would be able to mingle with students all over India.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is not not up to the mark. The current student council are trying to resolve the issues
- Most of the cultural activities are reserved for hall students
- Lack of network in the campus. It's difficult to check bio metric attendance since the server is usually down

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum for history vocational is fully based on theory. It's better if we had field works and study tours. Most of the subject are spoon fed, everyone relies upon the last year question paper available in the library.

- The college give more important in sports and other cultural activities
- The college has a very good computer labs
- The college has a decent campus with greenery and a large playground
Dislikes
- The college canteen is not good and the food they serve is not taste good.
- Teachers teaching is not up to the par and social interaction with students in campus is not good and you can find some good and cultured peoples but some peoples around there is not decent.
- The college location is somewhere middle in residency area so travelling to the college is hard and the roads around the college is very bad and the college is strict in their timing they close the gate sharp8.30 and they dont allow you to the campus

The areas that they can improve thei teaching is they want to ellaborate every topics they take and they have to give special attentions to the students and want to give some class test to know the students level of understanding and the frequency of exams is okay they keep three exams before your semester exams and the difficulty level is not bad

- College need expand and should provide many degree course

After the 4th semester the students will have prepration for placement.Ey, Deloitte, KPMG and more than 23 companies conducting placement in Vivekananda college for more than a decade.average package for 3.6 lakhs per annum and 5 lakhs per annum. After completing b.com and I am going to pursue CA professional

- The subjects are taken very briefly and the professor's make sure the students are well known about the concept or the topic to move on to the next one. They also make sure the students feel very comfortable and friendly with them
- Having a scheme of giving free food for those who are in need, especially for the students who are day scholars and staying alone or as a bachelor without any support.
- They give the same and equal importance for sports, co-curricular activities and events/functions.
Dislikes
- The College is not a co-education, the students will face difficulties in the future in their work place if their client or manager is an opposite gender, the student will find it difficult to communicate with the person.
- The College canteen doesn't look hygienic.
- The Boys have very bad behaviour of smoking outside the gate if the college which affects other students health aswell.
Placement Experience:
The students get a good placement in their third year before ir after the 5th Semester examination.
The students need a percentage of 90 and above and they should maintain a good attendance percentage as well of 75%+.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is like a roller coaster sometimes it is very easy and sometimes very hard. Its challenging at the same time its not. English and Language (specifically tamil) have too many lessons which should be reduced as the portion is too much.

- I love the part of teachers and their supportive nature
- They have given so much empathy and patience towards certain students
- The college infrastructure is good but not great and the canteen is good and affordable
Dislikes
- The students are bit overwhelming with their attitude
- The timings are not proper and sometimes the places are not that clean
- There is no transport facility for certain students so that's a drawback
Placement Experience:
Only limited percentage of students can avail benefit employment according to the course structure and mostly the passing state of students are less as many of the students have kept arrears . Then the placement is different from the given criteria and mostly students don't choose that profile

The University of Madras is doing a great job as it is providing a distance degree with an affordable fee structure. If you are a working individual and do not wish to quit your job, then joining distance MBA here will be the best option.
The courses and the study materials provided are good. You need to put effort in your studies to succeed. Self study is necessary. If you desire to learn more, you could attend the classes.
After completing the exams you will receive your Provisional certificate, within 4 months you will receive the completion certificate.

The M.Sc entrance test conducted by Madras University is not very difficult and it is based on the syllabus of the qualifyng degree. The entrance test will be conducted for 100 questions (MCQs) for 2 hours. There is no negative markin system.
