IPE based for 3-year course For 3-year degree course selection is based on intermediate marks and as for 4-year course, it's based on VITEE EXAM. There is also 5 years integrated course with Btech plus mtech that is another application.

I have given the entrance exam for Pg. Where I got some rank. They invited for the counseling process. But due to personal problems, I didn't attend counseling. Then on seat availability they called me telling me, there is a seat on the Chennai campus, if I m interested then can take admission. Then I came to get admission.

The best college for average students. Very good social life, good faculty, food is the best compared to all the colleges in India. Facilities outside of cinema and other entertainment.
Fees can be an issue as it is a bit high.
Too much strength in the classes as well as in the campus is a major problem and setback. Strict timing rules and frequent exams also pose a problem for students. The positive point is the infrastructure and facilities.
Overall it is a good university to study and enjoy your college life. It provides almost which is expected from a college. Life there is chill and there is not much pressure on the studies. The faculties are good and the class itself gives you a good understanding of the course.
For getting admission in vit first we have to write the vitee entrance exam conducted by vit. As eligibility, you should score at least 75% in the board exam. According to the rank that u have got they will allow you in any one slot out of the 5 slots according to that we can select the courses.
VIT conducts it's own Entrance Exam VITEEE for a period of one month all over India. Every candidate can write the exam once choosing his preferred time slot. Based on these marks VIT invites the first 20,000 students across India For counseling and admission process
It's good college to get job in placements. Only issues are with the system of fdfs sometimes we won't get even minimum credits as many students will be looking to it and if we can't get minimum credits it will be little heavy in 3rd year
