VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 4th to 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are lot of companies which visits like google,amazon,Tata,tcs,Microsoft,samsung,Sony, and many more around 1000 companies. The highest package is 1.05 crore and the average package is 20LPA.

The curriculum is very relevent. It includes all the subjects required for the course. The course not only includes theoretical knowledge but also keeps in mind about the practical knowledge. We have exams every 1month.

From fourt year they become eligible And intership are available from third year All major companies visit here including Microsoft Highest pachage in idia is around 70 lpa Placemts are nice here if u work hard as completion is very much I want to get placed only after geeting degree

VIT provided 100% placement to the students yeraly they call 200+ companies to recruit employees form this college. I too decided to get a job in campus interview for this I perpare myself as 9 pointer(CGPA) that was helpful to hire in top companies.

The placement apportunity will be provided by the college management through making agreement will corporate company like tata motors tcs wipro and tech mahindra infosis etc that they will also provide in banking sector and in industrial sector with minimum of 5-6lacks annual package

The placement season at VIT started in July 2023, as of Dec 2023, are the following statistics !!!!! At the end of the post I have my personal suggestions ! VIT placements this year(2023) are tooo good. Classifications in placements at VIT: Super Dream (>10LPA)Dream (5 to 10 LPA)Regular (<5 LPA) So, this year all placements are amazing, The highest package was given by Dyte i.e., 75 LPA and apart from this most companies in super dream hired 100s of people, Apart from this mass recruitment also happened really well this year, Cognizant hired 2500 students, Wipro hired, 1100 people and, TCS hired around 1000 people. 739 companies Visited this year and still counting !! Most students got placed in super dream companies and even mechanical students got salaries as high as 35 LPA in core !! Each year around 1200 to 1500 companies visit VIT so the best companies out of them name in them would be difficult but I just name the few companies salary wise.

We have the flexibility to chopse the course we want to do in a particular semister and timing in which we can have a class. We can also choose our faculty for a particular course. There are exams every month.

My college provided a placements. For 2 year course the placements and interships are started in 3rd semseter, For 4 and 5 years course it started from 6 and 8 semester, for the intership period is 1 year and 2 years the period is 3 to 6 months. The highest average of package is 15 lpa to minimum of 3 Lpa. Yearly 70% to 80% of students getting placed.

I think u become eligible from 3rd year for placements. If ur cgpa is above 8.5 u get pretty decent placement( yea it matters here) if ur cgpa 9 pointer u r set (although skills also matter cgpa just make u to apply for a specific company placement round). Many big companies visited like Microsoft Amazon and DE shaw etc. in 2023, total 904 companies visited. Placements is almost 90%. I would apply for placements after degree probably in a corporate job.

Vit focused on the upcoming trends and try to prepare the students for the future. They teaches according the recent and updated syllabus.Vit focus more in the practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge.
