This B.A (hons) is a very basic graduation degree in starting years there is no much load of attendance as compared to the last year . Maximum courses do not offer campus placement unless you opt for some foreign language and study it properly . Faculty is very good , and co curricular activities are also good . In Banaras Hindu University the bachelor of arts in social science is good and the faculty members are also good and the environment of learning is very good in BHU the BHU has one of the biggest library and you can go any time for Learning The bachelor of arts degree in economics provide you a large knowledge about economic and through which you can understand the government policies,banking sectors ,how the government works etc If you choose the economic then you have to focus on mathematical tools which are used in economics and also have ability to understand the graphs The examination was taken after the end of semester

I REALLY LIKED THE ASPECTS OF THE CURRICULUM FOR MY COURSE...THE THEORY AS WELL AS THE TECHNICAL PART OF IT WAS VERY ENJOYABLE.I DECIDED TO CHOOSE THE COURSE DUE TO MY INTEREST TOWARDS THE SUBJECTS...THE CURRICULUM REALLY PREPARES ONE FOR REAL WORLD APPLICATION AS IT PROVIDES INSIGHTS OF THE REALITIES OF SOCIETY AND IMBIBES KNOWLEDGE THAT HELPS FOR OUR FUTURE PREPRATION FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMS.THE AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT INCLUDE USING BOTH ENGLISH AND HINDI AS MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION DURING CLASSES...THE SEMESTER EXAMS ARE CONDUCTED REGULARLY WITH TWO SEMESTERS PER YEAR AND DIFFICULTY IS MODERATE AND REQUIRES PROPER PREPARATIONS OF THE SYLLABUS....

When I choose this course before this I thought that I prepared for the upsc so this course opt is needed. When I goes to study for that course in college then we know the atmosphere of out city education so the maturity level goes to High. According your weak points during study you should be improve your mistakes. In college the examination held in 2 times as semester wise and examination level is moderate.

Well, there are so many subject combinations in BA programme of BHU. You will get that as per your preference and your score. Subjects in humanities like history, geography, polity, etc. have a scope in further competitive exams.

I am a BA student and Sociology is my Honors subject. Currently in the second year, I am studying History and Economics along with Sociology. I am a UPSC aspirant. My syllabus is exactly according to upsc and also gives a good understanding of the society.

Better faculty and environment is there So I thought it's better to study here. A lot of better future options. So there is overall better development of carrier and future . Beautiful city that is Varanasi

I have interest in subject of humanities so I applied. Teachers are friendly and are of helping nature they teaches great. If subject is taught by practical ways then it will be great. You get sufficient time to prepare for exams.

I have choose B.A. Social Science Hons. and I have 3 core subjects including Political Science (Hons.), History and Economics. And all these subjects are useful for comparative exams and such curriculum also prepare students for real world applications and further academic pursuits. The frequency of exams are usually of 6 months but due to delay in admission process it is happening within 3-4 months.
