Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.
Campus is good, friends are good, clubs and societies are good and the fest is good

Dislikes

The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.
Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.

IIIT ALLAHABAD-One of the best institutes in India

Remarks:

basically,the college itself is really very famous for its coding culture,i was interested in mathematics from the beginning and i also heard from my senior that coding is mostly about mathematics, that's what made me to choose this college.Apart from that,there is very structured academics here as compared to other colleges.You will find faculty very helpful.Also there is very good lab facilities here and TAs there are also.very helpful.they will help you whenever u need.the senior here are really amazing.all u will learn in college from your senior.they will teach you coding from your very first semester and help u whenever u need.

IIITA REVIEW

Remarks:

first of all it have a great coding culture, you will be exposed to different fields of IT . Branch doesn't matter for getting placed in an IT company. Average as well as median package are great and comparative to big IITs.

Placement Experience:

Placements totally depend on your skills and level of knowledge you have but on an average every student gets placed from IT AND TECH branch but from core brach like civil mechanical etc it about 78%.Overall median salary of College is 9lpa and average package for cse and IT is 19 to 20 lpa.highest went upto 43 lpa. Microsoft, delloite, goldman sacs, google, intel, tech mahindra, bosch visit every year.

Remarks:

iiita provides best Infrastructure as well as very good placement. .As expected.Even though global pendemic, placement is very good here.Talking about internship.you will get various opportunities starting from 1st sem. Here only requirement is coding. Overall its a good college.we can definitely rely on campus placement.

My Experience with IIITA

Remarks:

Placement is very good in iiit Allahabad and infrastructure is also very nice and hostel facility are also very nice but in the mess foods are very bad.IIIT is best for students who wants a better life in 'Information Technology' even its good for ECE also,but its meant for IT students. Placements are pretty good for IT students. Average package is 15 lacs.

MY college My pride

Remarks:

College have excellent placement much better then top IITs. College have good coding culture. IT branch in IIIT allahabad is equivalent to CS branch in top IIT s. College have well established infrastructure. The only bad aspects is the academic is very hectic in IIIT allahabad and the course curriculum is not semester based it is kind of continuous evaluation based that makes academic much more hectic here.

IIIT Allahabad - An experience

Remarks:

The admission procedure is JOSAA controlled with JEE mains as the qualifying exam. The dates for admission are based on the schedule published by JOSAA. I chose this college because of it's great coding culture and many people in my school network had a good experience. I also looked at reviews on quora.com and shiksha.com which looked very promising. Also, because a good rank is required to get the courses here so one can be sure about the peer quality here and there are no other branches than IT and ECE here, so there is a niche community here. Alumni from here have been hired in every major IT company and the placements have also been great so far. The only issue here is the location of the institute. It is located on the outskirts of Allahabad. So there are not many good places to have fun around the campus.

Great IIITA

Remarks:

placement is one of the best from iiits and nits and hence i chose this college.overall professors are also good plus i liked the concept of having only 2 branches fro btech. there are branches for dual degree as well. for ex in robotics.

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.

Academics:

Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.

Placements:

Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.

IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
