I'd also like to remind you that scholarship opportunities are available to help ease the financial burden.
Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.
Campus is good, friends are good, clubs and societies are good and the fest is good

Dislikes

The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.
Professor are very strict here in academics and academic is also very hard.

Likes

Coding environment ,literally 80% students do coding have a good competitive environment.
Placement, institute is well renowned for the placements it provide,Least is 14 LPA and avg around 29 for ECE students.
Free time we get here is ok when compared to other colleges.

Dislikes

Welfare things ,like mess food is not as good when compared to the fee we are paying.
Campus size 😅,not really 100 acers,compact one.
Management , management here is lazy and don't solve students problems quickly.

IT Allahabad has a strong record of campus placements, with top companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler and Adobe visiting the campus to recruit students. In the 2021-22 placement season, a total of 417 offers were made to students. The average package for B.Tech IT students was 34 LPA, while for B.Tech ECE students it was 29 LPA. A high percentage of eligible students, 96%, were placed in the 2021-22 placement season.

Likes

Infrastructure is best one can get. Infrastructure is just like top college no one can feel it is government college
Fest and cultural activities are also best
Curriculum and teaching faculty are top notch

More placement opportunity should available for MBA student

Placement Experience:

Placement for an MBA is quite good but it needs to improve further. In the first year Companies are called for summer internships in the month of November. Companies from BDE, HR, AMC and tech domain came for summer internships. For summer internships more than 50 companies came for internship. The final placement is done in the second year by December. The average package is of 7 lakh The highest for 2022-23 was 19 lakh The lowest was 6 lakh. 80% of students sitted for placement and got placement rest opted for their business and further studies. My plan is to get placed in AMC after the degree

IIITA College review

Likes

Coding Culture in IIITA is very good compared to other college
getting a very good Placement i we study properly
In IIITA we get to work on real time projects which helps a lot

Dislikes

Mess food as i am from south india the food in the menu is majorly based on north side of india
A very packed schedule going to have assignment every week viva's every week etc.
Number of holidays we get less number number of holiday than other government colleges

Placement Experience:

7th sem and 8th sem students are eligible for seating in the placements. The number of companies visited is approx. 250 maximum every major MNC has visited the college. Every student on the campus last year has been placed except for the students who are going for higher studies or civils. The Highest package was around 82 lpa and the average was 34 lpa (approx.) and the median was 29 lpa.

Campus placement , Environment, Growth and learning opportunites
Vicinity if the campus , Easily approachable faculty
Top level classroom and Labs. Diversity among the students.

Dislikes

Food at the canteen , under developed ground.
Out of the city location of the campus far away from City center.
Very less sports facility available at the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement is 100%, Placement starts from the starting of the 7th Semester. The average Package is 18lpa. All the major IT companies visit the college during the placement time. Most students opt for higher eduction.

Campus Life :The campus is a heaven for me. Most of the time I use to stay in campus with my friends and have fun there.
Society Culture: Because of that we are able to explore the different things and follow the passion or hobby.
Coding Culture: We have a great peer coding culture everyone here use to code

Dislikes

CCLCAA: It's new academic policy that the institute follow. Under this we have to give continuous evaluation throughout the semester which some times become super hectic.
No Entry in Labs after 12 :00AM(night)
No Entry in Any Building In Shorts: No student is allowed to enter in any building in shorts.

Placement Experience:

The students of the 6th sem are eligible for campus placement. The placement here is absolutely mind-blowing. The average package is 31LPA and the Median is 25LPA. The highest domestic package is 1.21 Cr and Highes International Package is of 1.25 Cr. The placement is getting better year after year. About 150+ companies visited prev year. The top recruiters were Google Sprinkler Atlassian etc. The placement rate is also very high.

Hectic Schedule: with continuous evaluation
It is tough to score high GPA in college as exams are above moderate.

Placement Experience:

IIITA is known for its excellent placement record. The placements of IIIT A are on a rise. This year the average package was 34 lacs!! and the minimum package offered was 18 lacs. All the tech giants visit the campus, including Google, Amazon, etc. The college boasts 100% placements each year.

The college has good placements , something everyone aspires for.
The coding culture is great, great scope for good coders.
The seniors are quite helpful, are always there to help

Dislikes

The teaching staff don't know a single thing about teaching .
The sports culture is not so good. Everyone is focusing on studies.
The campus is not well maintained, could be better.

Placement Experience:

Students get the college placements from 4th year while they do start getting internships from the 3 Rd start only .The highest packages goes as high as 1.4 crores while the average fluctuates around 30 lpa.All the students get placed i.e. 100% placement. you heard it right. After getting the degree I plan to work in a MNC and earn a good amount of money in order to better my family's financial condition.

One of the best things about the college is its placements. IIIT Allahabad is famous for its campus placements with its placements records. Students from 3rd year of B.Tech can try for internships. Getting an internship increases the choice of getting placement in the 4th year. And all the students in 4th year are eligible for campus placements. More than 200 companies visit the campus every year for recruitment. The highest package offered is 1.42 crores per annum for international companies And 1.24 for the domestic package. With an average salary of 33 lakhs per annum. Almost 100% of students get placed every year.

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.

Academics:

Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.

Placements:

Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.

Facilities and Infrastructure:

This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.

IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
