MNNIT Allahabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose SMS, MNNIT because MNNIT is a brand in itself. I completed my entire MBA course with in INR 1.50 Lakhs, (includes college fee+mess & hostel), this was another reason to choose this college.The college takes admission through CAT Score. and the overall merit is declared on the basis of 10th+12th+Grad+CAT score

The main reason i would say was i was getting a good branch of my choice in this college i.e Information Technology and the placements of the Branches like cs, it were very good and apart from that i wanted a college close to my hometown too.

After 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many Big Companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, etc are visiting the institute and offers up to 49 lakhs per annum. There are the highest packages in chemical engineering are 17.30 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 8.82 lakhs per annum. There are 100% Placements in the year 2019 but the average Placement is around 80 - 85 % in the Chemical engineering branch. After getting my degree I took part in campus placement.

Reason behind opting this college are(Pros) :-1) Coding culture is awsome (In India, CSE took birth in our college) 2)placment percentage & Mean package is better than most of the other MIT's3) Being old institute, it has many clubs for exploring . 4) this institute has strong alumni strength5) Near to my home 6) return of investment is good 7)Our college come under top 5 MIT's8) Campus is spread across wide area of 220 acre9) Senior are really very helpful & there is no raggingCon's of this college are:-1) all the proffs are not confident in teaching or don't explain. 2) infrastructure is still developing3) Chemistry dept is very strict, they don't consider even technical glitch in submission of quiz or end semester answer sheet.

I intended to get my MBA from a prestigious institution after graduating. This college appealed to me since it guarantees 100% placement for management students. This Institute has several positive features, such as excellent infrastructure and sanitary canteens. My CAT score and a personal interview were used to determine my admission to this institute. My college's admissions method is far too simple, since I finished my registration first, then my CAT and undergraduate grades were taken into account for the short listing process. I also went through the GD and PI rounds after being shortlisted. Finally, I was accepted into this college.

I wanted to pursue engineering in mechanical from one of the top colleges. I gave JEE in 2017 and my Mains rank was 18,176. My JEE advanced rank was not upto the par for admission in any IIT so I tried to get admission in the best possible NIT. After result of JEE is announced we have to fill our college choices in order of priority on the JoSSA website. I gave preference to top NIT's Mechanical Engineering but my rank was again not upto the par. I was using closing ranks of last 4-5 years to find a pattern and take guess as to where can I get admission and where can I not. Mechanical Engineering in all top NITs has a closing rank of less than 10,000 but my rank was above 18,000. Then I started searching for different branches under Mechanical Engineering Department and I came to know about Production and Industrial Engineering in MNNIT Allahabad. I compared course curriculum which I got from college's website (mnnit.ac.in), it was almost identical to mechanical engineering. Then I compared the placement stats of mechanical and production and again they were quite similar in both percentage of students placed and average package that the students get. I decided that best possible option for me is Production and Industrial Engineering in MNNIT according ti my rank and luckily I got admission here too.

Ranking, Placements, Faculty, NIT Allahabad was very prestige and oldest college, so study culture was quite professional there, though the living facilities given for PG students was not quite well, but the renovation and new buildings were under construction, overall I love this college

Good learning and placements opportunities are there, There is no such thing as bad aspect but i think course corriculum of all the NITs should be revised. I've used Qoura and siksha.com while selecting this college, and after the 4 year of college i can surely it was wonderfull experience.

My college is one of the most renowned College, it has a good placement record and has position in among top NITs with overall 4th rank as in 2017. It is visited by top companies in both core and non core sector and has excellent placements in IT industry.

At this much fees no other B school offer such a good placement opportunities. Students don't need to worry for their internships if they have the capabilities they will definitely convert the opportunities. Fees is quite low comparatively other NITS , placement stats are good 6.5 lakh average package, It offers Dual specialization with equal weightage, lastly it is a College of national importance.
