To be honest the placements offered in management department for bcom are not good enough as are in private colleges. Generally , it goes upto 20k-25k per month for metro cities. Gurgaon Noida Delhi etc But the placement in other departments such as language department is quite good

Inspite being a government owned University, the placement rate is quite impressive. Big company giants game maruti suzuki, Hitachi etc visit the campus for placement. Doon University is the first university in uttarakhand to implement New Education policy which makes students job ready.

To save my year as a backup option i had to do this coursework due to which i had to study from my hometown even though I studied in delhi for 3 year adjusting here is way more challenging compared to delhi

I chose this course because I want to make a good career in the finance services industry. There are very good and prestigious faculty from all over India. The professors have well-qualified and Ph.D. degrees. They taught us very well. The exam had been scheduled on time and the exam was tough to pass.

I was from a commerce background that's why I chose this course. I want to build my career in the commerce department or banking sector. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Some teachers are very helpful and brilliant in teaching while some others take their duty for granted. If you have a good bonding with the teacher you will understand everything better. Depends on student to student how he or she understands the teaching method of the teacher. I will say the method of teaching here is average as some teachers take their duty very seriously and others just take the duty for granted. Sem occurs in 2 to 3 months while the finals I'm exam occurs every 5 months. Some exams are very difficult to pass and some are very easy to pass as it depends on the teacher how the teacher prepares the exam.

I chose this course because I want to become a CA. The faculty in the university is above average all teachers are good in behavior. No one restricts you. The teaching methods of every teacher are excellent. Term exams are very easy.

The placement package is decent with different companies all around Dehradun and some outside the cities. The highest was 8L for MBA And BBA- 4L pa Campus placement is possible for most students. Banks and Deloitte were there too for management placement

Few companies visit our college for placements. Companies that visit our college offer very low salary packages compared to the college's reputation. There are few opportunities to get good salary packages from here. If you choose this college for admission, you will have to decide to opt either for off-campus job placements or basic salary placements.

I will probably opt for a corporate sector job like in Amazon . And maybe I'll later give myself time to look for what I really am made for . Money is a priority at first . I will definitely be looking forward to earning good amount of money.

Personal interview and the group discussion are the two rounds that you need to clear in order to get admission here. You need to be aware about your course and some questions from your past job/ internship are also asked (if you have done any). Some personality questions are asked as well. Be confident and answer.
