- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- Campus is much larger in area wise and many facilities are provided which required for a students to develop their skills.
- Faculties are also more than required as we have many professor of a particular course so that we can have options to understand. They all are helpful and kind and all are always available to support and guide us.
- Curriculum is also very good we have lot more options for our electives to choose as per our interest and to improve our skills towards placements.
Dislikes
- Hostel food is sometimes not acceptable. And there are lot for new combination in food.
- Each girls hostel is far from other while all boys hostel are nearby only.
- As a student we need preparation leaves before exam but we can't get that.
Placement Experience:
Placements are best in this institute. In the first semester of last year of course. Companies like Google, Amazon, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, Microsoft, physics wallah, vedantu, byjus, and many more. Highest package is 2.5-5 crore and least is 10-15 lakh average. 80-90% students are always placed within a year in total.

- The ratio of boys to girls in my course is almost equal so it was never an issue for MSc chemistry students.
- The infrastructure and scenery is one of the most beautiful one that I have seen for any college.
- The new hostels that are built are apartment like hostels and hostel Life is not restricted for pg students.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is very difficult to cope up with. It is very stressful to deal with the pressure of this course.
- There is less practicality in the course and more like mugging up of the majority of things which the student won't understand
- The nature of students is very competitive so back stabbing is very common here.
Placement Experience:
The placement cell is very active towards BTech students but for our course only edtech companies approach and many students are not interested in that as they either want to work in industrial companies or they want to pursue PhD. So in campus placement is very less and majority of the students take jobs outside the campus on their own.
Average package a person can get is 6 LPA
And it can go higher depending on the qualification and experience.
Companies like byjus, akash , allen approach every year.
You can apply for placements from the first semester itself.

- I like the sports campus of our college. It is very well maintained.
- Course infrastructure of our college is good . They include all the courses that insure full character development and knowledge development.
- Mentoring program of college is superb they provide a third year seniors to all ug first year to support them .
Placement Experience:
The college provide internship in second last year and placement in last year. There is lots campony come for placement. They provide packages from 10 lpa to couple of crore per annum.
After degree I am going for job through the college

- Like it's an IIT the boys girls ratio is 80:20 and infrastructure is too good and a healthy environment is there
- Considering the engagement we have ample of opportunities to engage in any field whether it is sports, cultural thing, all types of facilities are available here.
- The course structure is very well maintained and I think the load is very less because the professor know in the end they will do their work.
Dislikes
- As such there is nothing to dislike about it because considering the freedom it's full, and there is no restriction and eventually placement is too too hood here as well as internship
Placement Experience:
Placement is something that is most appealing part here. You are eligible for placement in your final year first semester, and almost 500-600 companies visit every year and placement ratio is almost 95% but in 2024 due to recession this number is very less but the trend is as it is. Companies like Google, Microsoft, BNY Mellon, BCG, Data Bricks visit here.

- The infrastructure, the quality education and the facilities provided to each and every student including internet speed and many more.
- A lot of cool, very helpful and great minds around in the hostel and seniors. The environment is always competitive but motivating and helping.
- The campus is very peaceful and vibrant. The security in the campus is also very good and there is no limitations of time in the campus
Dislikes
- The mess food disappoints in taste and some common problems which can occur everywhere.
- Some academics issues like some courses which doesn't even relate to the field are also included in the curriculum.
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities are quite good in the campus , companies visit campus twice one in the end of the first semester and second in the month of march.
Most of the students get placed in the campus and those who not have a chance to apply for offcampus.
I am also looking for the placement in the campus as well and trying to be placed in a decent company with decent job profile.

- Campus is very beautiful and lush green . Newly built hostels are great and old hostels are liveable.
- Seniors are helpful and there is no ragging in college.
- There are clubs for almost everything. We can explore things we missed out suring jee days.
Dislikes
- Mess food can be not eatable sometimes .
Placement Experience:
Since its an IIT , placements are generally good . CSE have an average of more than 30 lpa with multiple companies like Microsoft, Google , Adobe , Meta visiting.Other branches like chemical , civil , mechanical also have average package of more than 15 lpa.Overall Average package is 17 lpa.

- There are many clubs in IITR where you can pursue you passion and learn many things from seniors.
Dislikes
- Boy Hostel at IIT ROORKEE are in poor condition. You are alloted triple and double rooms for first 2 years. Also Mess food is not so good.
- There is strict attendance policy, so you to attend at least 70-75% classes. Otherwise you are not allowed to sit in exams.
Placement Experience:
All good companies visit the campus for placement and placements are good in even reccesion time. In placement season 2023 900+ offers are made.
Placements start in your final year. Avg package varies branch to branch but you can it around 20-25lpa. Highest package are in crores.
Almost 85-90% students are placed during placement season.

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement, no. Of offers here are too much big companies come here for campus placement, highest package around 2Cr and overall average around 20/22lpa.

- The location of IIT Roorkee is in Uttarakhand which is suitable for exploring many beautiful places like Rishikesh, Mussoorie. These 4 years will be of exploring everything.
- Getting admission in IIT will surely increases chances of becoming success full in life. The peer group around you will motivate you to learn different skills.
- The free time you get after completing each semester(2 month after even semester and 1 month after odd semester) will provide you ample time to prepare for placements.
Dislikes
- Sometimes, the peer pressure around you makes you stressful. You will feel fear of missing out at some point of time.
- The academic pressure is also there. You have to give 2 exams in a single day continously for 3-4 days.
- Although placement at iit roorkee is good but some lower branches find placement difficultly

- theres a lot of new rules and regulations to limit campus life of students

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
