UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Overall it was a good experience. Just one con- Capping of CGPA at 5/10 for even one back led to my worst placements and left me with less opportunities.

I got selected on the basis of 12th percentage and after that I cleared the GP/PI process.

I got into the college through the process of GD and PI. There was a counselling session of students with their parents before the interview process to make us understand and clear our doubts regarding the course. We were also given detailed information about the options and courses at UPES so that we can choose the course of our interest.

The infrastructure of this college is very good and even the environment which we get here is excellent. The college is in between the mountains so we get fresh atmosphere here. The faculties are also very good and supportive. So overall I would rate my college 8 out of 10.

The process of taking admission to the college is quite simple. A student have to fill an online form which is provided by the University's official site. Then after entering all the necessary details you will get admission. The main procedure of the selection is on the merit basis but almost all student got selected require they have their previous result clear.

UPES takes admission on the basis group discussion and personal interview. At first you have to fill you have to fill out the admission form and then on that basis you are given venue accordingly for your GD and PI.

The specialization offered by the university made me chose this program.

I applied for the college by filling in the detailed application form on the official website. I give the CAT exam but since I didn't got good score and I also had to continue my job I opted for a postgraduate diploma program from this university. UPES is a popular University in Uttarakhand and its distance learning arm offers variety of options in the diploma programme. After approval of my application I was asked to complete the admission formalities post which I got the admission in the program.
