Likes

I liked teaching style of all teachers which was very good.
The fees is 100000 per year and for one semester it is 55000 and for second semester it is 45000 and the college provides many scholarship like nsp and many others scholarship yes there is also a campus placement opportunity
Campus is well and good tech festival and sports festival and cultural festival are held in a semester or in an year.extra curricular activities are often happens.

Dislikes

There is no sports ground in the college and no sports period
I dont like the various updates in ghe website of the university
I dont like the website during result time it lags too much .

Likes

In the look college is so much beautiful. As it is situated in Uttarakhand, Garhwal region mountain. You can see Chaukhamba peak from here.
College is active is every thing. Faculties are very talented.
Girls and Boys ratio is not good because boys are almost triple in numbers.

Dislikes

Placements is not good in this college. 3-4 lakh is average package.
Mess food quality is very very bad. Sometimes insects are found in the food.
It does not have night culture because of risk of animals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good and the time table is also nice. Same syllabus of UTU is followed here . Exam timing is 3 hours. Exam difficulty level is medium hard due to lengthy paper. More and more class should be held.

Placement at eligibility: students usually become eligible for campus business in their final year seven semester for a 4 year course or 3rd semester for a 2 year pastors program aminul CGPA of 7.0 or higher is often required good performance in soft skills training and aptitude preparation sessions of a better college placement cell

One of the best i can say

Likes

Well this college is located in a very beautiful location in shivalik range of Himalayas but still it needs to work a little bit on its infrastructure like sports facilities
People here including locals and students are very kind and helpful and the faculties available are also very educated and knowledgeable and helpful too
The placement cell needs some changes as alot of potential is still left untreated

Dislikes

Disliked the connectivity from outer worls
Main cities like Delhi and Dehradun aren't connected through out the day

Placement Experience:

Well the placement here is i will not say very good but i will not even call it bad as almost everyother guy gets placed from here even if the pay is low but they get placed alot of companies visit this college every year including hcl and others

Likes

The thing I like the most in my clg is that there is one on one interaction with teacher
The other thing is the teachers even after classes are willing to teach
The canteen food is also nice and affordable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 9/10. I want to become web developer so I joined my BTech course. Our teachers gives us assignment that helps us to practice and in class also they pay attention to our work so it prepares us for the exam.

Things everyone knows but nobody tells.

Likes

I like the location and climate of this college.
Attendance criteria is not very strict in this college

Dislikes

College administration is very bad for engineering culture
Hostel in time is 6 PM for the girls and girls are not allowed to go outside college boundary.
It's very cold here in winters but heaters are not allowed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the Uttarakhand technical university. The curriculum is okay for theory purposes but outdated for practical uses in the modern times. The exams here are harder than other colleges in the state.

GBPIET - a hidden gem in the mountains

The location of this college is fabulous .
The atmosphere here is suitable for studying
Helpful nature is found between seniors and juniors

Dislikes

Academics at this college are really hard
There is found Difficulty in scoring high CGP
Low availability of water is found and water comes during certain hours of the day only

The course of first year is divided in two different parts . One includes a subject combination having physics and the other one includes chemistry . The curriculum is outdated in terms of the day to day changing life .

There is no gym facility available for the students
in India in the campus without any limitation
There is in timing for girl 6:00 p.m.in evening.

Forever Living most article classes as compared to the labour but this field requires more level as compared to the 30th classes we need more feel were knowledge as compared to the theoretical knowledge

College location is awesome....for the students who love mountains
Campus life and friendship it is too good for the students for their carrier prospective . College has its own wifi for students so they can study more for there bright future
Some faculties have get their phd from Germany 🇩🇪 learning faculties are good

Dislikes

College location is only for vacations but not to live here...because no markets is close to the college
Hospital is 13km from the college so if a student requires a medical facility he have to suffer
College doesn't promotes sports too much

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for mechanical department here, their branch faculties put efforts for their students to bring good companies here. From the 6th semester the students become eligible for the campus placement. Google visited here in 2022 but no students could solve their problems so they no offered made to any students. In 2022 from ECE branch a student got 97lpa in amazon and per year for the student profiles who had skills in programming , web development like skills having internship in PSU's or in IIT's get 12 lpa but the average salary is for the students is 4lpa. 60% students are mostly placed from each branch per year. I have to clear gate for my upcoming carrier so I can persue M.tech in vlsi or I can get job in any PSU.
