Likes

I liked teaching style of all teachers which was very good.
The fees is 100000 per year and for one semester it is 55000 and for second semester it is 45000 and the college provides many scholarship like nsp and many others scholarship yes there is also a campus placement opportunity
Campus is well and good tech festival and sports festival and cultural festival are held in a semester or in an year.extra curricular activities are often happens.

Dislikes

There is no sports ground in the college and no sports period
I dont like the various updates in ghe website of the university
I dont like the website during result time it lags too much .

Likes

The location of the college and the campus also is very beautiful.
The teachers are really helpful and understanding.
Some faculties are really good at teaching.

Dislikes

The teachers of some departments don't put on muh efforts in teaching.
The average package for placements is very low.
The hostel facilities are lacking in proper supply of water.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester of Btech course. Companies like BigOH, GrowUp, L&T, Rubico, QI Technologies, Mahindra, BEL, etc. visit the campus for on-campus placements and the no. of placements in the year 2023-24 was 113. The placement details are given in the official website of the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by BEL and the lowest was 3 LPA. Most of the students go for GATE and don't sit for campus placements. I would go for GATE for higher studies.

Mostly teacher are friendly they use to good talk with student help students
Fee structure is so good it is good for middle class family
Every year college provide free skill based course to the student

Dislikes

College campus is very small it's not much good
75 to 80 percent attendance must in college if you not go college they also fined for that
Lab are not good computers is very slow old processed only few lab are good

Placement Experience:

Placement is decent average package of btec cse is 4 lpa and not all the students get placed placement percent is 60 to 65 and the college highest package goes to 18 lpa college improve there placement year by year

Thats our college life

Likes

Strictness of the college .rules and Regulation are follow properly .
Education quality is improving day by day . Facility are improving
Placement company are visiting and Placement package is also increases

Dislikes

Faculty members are less because of less student.
In biotechnology only sale and marketing company is visiting
Labs does not have proper chemicals and equipments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This biotech course is increases .after some year this couse is bloom up ..this course is beneficial for upcoming year day by day health issue are increases by bacterial viruses biotechnologist will help to improve the health of the country .our teacher is helping us to gain more interest in this course the other branch also study one subject as elective subject from our department . The exam pattern is 3 hr timing and long ques of 10 marks from each units and 5 and 2 marks ques is asked.

A happy college life

Our college in Dehradun has the biggest playground in our college in which we can play football, cricket, handball, volleyball, everything, there is complete sports material here.This college is very good for those who play sports
Those who play sports in college have been given the facility of both NCC and NSS. NCC students will get a lot more opportunities after four years after the completion of college. This is very important for us.it's a good thing
The entire faculty in the college is very good, in which studies take place in every college, everything happens, there are dramas in it, there is real juice, scripts are written, there are plays as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is BSc agriculture and I am very interested in doing this course. I have scored after some thinking and I In my course, horticulture is my subject, I don't know about biotechnology, there are many subjects in it about chemistry, in this we have to know how to do farming, how many types of flowers are there I am having a lot of fun doing everything, I am very interested in reading things

The first thing I acknowledge about this college location which is in very beautiful.
The autonomous policy our college which provide very much relief.
The faculty of our department are very helpful in nature.

Dislikes

The boys to girls ratio is very high in our college.
The winters in this college are very cold.
The cultural events quality are not very exciting.

: 6 semester completed students become eligible for campus placement : Ola, Zomato etc companies visited in this College and they made no offers. : The highest package is around 700000 and the average package around is 450000. : Students above 7.5 cgpa or above 75 percentage getting placement. :my plans after the degree best placement otherwise good government job.

Mountains and weather of our college is like heaven
Many big spiritual places are very nearby such as badrinath, dhari devi and many more
Participating in cultural events Is a lot of fun

Dislikes

The personal grudge culture is the thing I don't like about this college
There is lot of corruption in this college
And mainly here girls are treated very differently as compared to boys which I don't like

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course designed by utu is great and good for our future but the things that are taught in the college is not understood by the students that well. Difficulty level of the exam is fine but the checking is way to unfair .

The location of the college is very good
It provides calm and peaceful atmosphere to students
The surroundings are suitable here for studying since there are very less distractions.

Dislikes

Very hard to score good marks in exams since marking done by teachers are very tough.
Low availability of water is found here in the college
No big city is near the college . The oniy place near the college is pauri .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is outdated since it belongs to old days. The curriculum should be set accordingly to the modern days since the daily is day to day changing. Mostly the questioms in exams are previous year questions.

Likes

Lush green campus with natural trees full of pleasant vibes. Every man is well equipped along with WiFi facilities. Some core Faculty is also very supportive requested to subject as well as other aspects
There is senior junior interaction but it should be respectful. No ragging is there. Campus is very beautiful. Since student intake is not very high, a good interaction is there among students as well as student and faculty.
All well qualified faculty is present. And special lab assistants are present.

Dislikes

Students have too early in timings and are restricted to ho or after that.
No variation among students so variation of thoughts does not takes place. Everyone is from technical background but it could be taken as a positive point too
No fancy packages recently offered by companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the curriculum of the course is decided by Uttarakhand technical University which decides were every college falling under it. You might a further line engineers can go in every field they can do anything so same is with us we have all round development here in engineering college and we are prepared for real life challenges. After b.tech we can go in various fields of our choice except medical we can early do everything.

Reflection on GBPIET , pauri

Likes

GBPIET is located in pauri , a beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand. The natural surrounding are often praised by students, offering a peaceful environment for studying and a break from city noise .
The campus is equipped with basic facilities such as well - constructed classroom, labs and a library. The college has made strides in improving infrastructure and many students appreciate the modern amenities offered.
The college has disciplined approach to academics and there is support for students interested in research and development. Many students who are inclined towards higher studies or research value this aspects .

Dislikes

Limited placement opportunities here, the overall placement record is sometimes considered average. Students may find that only a few companies visit the campus for recruitment and these may not always offer position in top roles .
The hostel facilities may not always meet the expectations of all the students. Issues like lack of water facilities, inadequate food quality are common concerned among every students.
Due to college location and resources, students may not get as much exposure to the industry trends , internship or corporate interaction compared to colleges situation in major cities like Delhi , Mumbai or Bangalore.

Placement Experience:

Placement rate is average in GBPIET , the placement is good in specific branch like CSE . Students may find that only a few companies visit the campus for recruitment and these may not always offer positions in top industies or high paying roles .

Likes

College is situated at good location, provides good weather condition and study environment.
Faculty is quite supportive and helpful and clears our concepts clearly.
Good competition among students and friendly nature between students.

Dislikes

No options for better placements as college is situated in hilly region so average package goes upto 600000
College is placed in rural hilly area so no easy availablity of resources.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is average in this college as it is situated in hilly region so many companies ct explore here. On campus placement package ranges upto 6 lac per year. From 7th semester students get eligible for placement. Maximum placement ranges from 9-10 lac per year and average ranges upto 6 lac. I will opt for post- graduation after my graduation and not such plans for placement.
