The great experience at BIMS

They also provide internship in many companies. In which paid and unpaid internship are included.
They provide placement in company like wipro, tcs. They provide a chance for each students to sit in the interview session.etc

Placement Experience:

After completing 2nd semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs wipro has visited our college. They also arranged job fail in their campus. Around 50 to 60 percent stdents got placed. I should prefer to have higher study after completing BCA.

Honest review of St.xavier's College Burdwan

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem they become eligible. But companies like tcs wipro accenture visits. But package is very low and placement is below average. My plan is to clear ugc net or go for some businesses degree . I will surely do something else but work for competitive exams. White collar jobs are best. Dont wait for placement in this college. Internships are available.

The syllabus is good, for CSE you can prepare for gate and placement simultaneously.

Infrastructure and placement of this college sucks.

There is no placement after covid. Mostly students apply off-campus pr go for higher studies. About 20% students get placed with average of 3LPA. I am planned to applied for off-campus opportunities and also appear for GATE.

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

And man students are selected for TCS-digital from off-campus placements , our seniors are also placed in good mncs , if u have good relationship with seniors then u will refferal very easily . This year one of our seniors got 11LPA Package in TCS-prime.

There are good placement in various department like physics, math, chemistry. Other than these subjects like Bengali, geogrpahy, history have also greate oppotunity to get selected as a scholar of central or state university. In case of Engeneering UIT Burdwan has acheived a lot of palcement from varoius comapny with 2.46 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Most of the IT companies come here like TCS, WIPRO, BYJUS, INFOSIS, TECH MAHINDRA. There are a lot of oppertunities for CSE and IT graduates. But core companies don't come that much so if you are from core branch you have to go for off capmus for core jobs. And average package offered is 6 LPA. overall 78% students got placed through in-campus and off campus.

Navigating through University Institute Of Technology.

Dislikes

Internship opportunities are not good and one has to apply outside for the same. Placement opportunities are decent as mostly mass recruiters come for on campus placement drives.

Placement Experience:

Students get eligible to sit for placement drive from 7th semester onwards. Companies ( mostly mass recruiters ) come for placement drives and offer CTC around 3-7 lpa. Most of the students in (CSE,IT,ECE) get placed.

There are better options that you can apply for based on the tests that you took such as CAT, XAT, NMAT, and so on. I would recommend looking into another Tier 2 B-schools that have a national brand name. NITs (NIT Allahabad, NIT Trichy), IMS BHU, IIT Dhanbad, and others are among the few schools that accept lesser scores.

I have a few friends who did their MBA from Burdwan University and according to them, the placement is not quite good. However, the tuition structure is extremely reasonable, and the faculties are excellent. Here are brief placement highlights for Burdwan University.
