I completed my B.A. Political Science from Gobinda Prasad Mahavidyalaya. It was established in the memory of Gobinda Prasad Singh, a social worker with a noble purpose to extend higher education among poor people. The college is affiliated to the Bankura University. The college basically aims at promoting higher education among weaker people of society and groom them enough to make them hireable and independent.

My college has the best infrastructure which helps in making our stay easier. The college has different labs including computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab and a physics education lab as well. The management and the teachers here ensure that the students get best facilities.

My college is one of the superb colleges as all the students here various facilities that help in making learning easier. Also, there is a spacious library which has huge collection of books and a variety of journals are also available so that students can enhance their knowledge.

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. The main criteria is that you need to have 45% aggregate and 45% in the subject one is going for further study.You need to apply online in the online admission portal.

The college is overall a very good college for B.Ed. with a feasible fee structure. It provides you with good infrastructure and every facility you will need. It provides you with a plethora of options when it comes to extra-cirricular activities too.

The best part of the college is that it is located in our kind of remote area which makes it annoying for someone but very good for us as we are nature lovers and don't like the noise all round. The college is very active in social awareness programs.

I am doing B.A English Hons from this college and to get admission here I filled an Online Application Fee worth INR 200.00. The eligibility criterion to get admission in this course was 45%, though I got 80% marks in 10+2 level.
