This course total cost 30,000 rupees in divide 6 semester in 3 year, this course have lots of scholarship, financial assistance like swami vivekananda merit cum mins scholarship was the best scholarship in west bengal
The campus was beautiful and the professors were friendly and helpful.
Placement services are also good . around 60 percent student get placed

Dislikes

I really disliked how late our semester exam are held. this causes problem for 6th sem students as they can't apply for other places early.
The placement is really not good and many of the students hated internships and jobs for the medical representative designation.
The staff gets rude sometimes and are not helpful ( some of them)

City College... from the perspective of a simple student.

Likes

The faculty and teachers are very very helpful and supportive.
The departmental library is quite efficient.
The infrastructure is improving and the lab is very much accessible.

Dislikes

The rate of canteen is very high and it's no worth it.
The infrastructure is improving but very slowly. Not sure if I'd be able to see it before I pass out the college.
I don't like the college union. Though it's quite helpful but i don't like it's ideology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I chose has quite scope. The course curriculum is nice and good for knowledge gaining. The outside exposure is not much, still it tries to provide practical knowledge as well. Thqe teaching methods are very effective. The exams are not much difficult, one can easily ace the exams if studies well.

The Ups and many Downs throughout my College Life

Likes

The availability to attend classes online was a major positive considering many students alongside me had to travel a long way to get to our college
The student counsil was very active and always provided necessary guidance whenever needed also the Boys to girls ratio would be a solid 10:7
The Anti Ragging system was well developed and actually showed it's presence to prevent ragging rather cure it after it happened

Dislikes

The major flaw was the institutional system was very politic oriented and severy worked under the influence of the state government causing some rather verbal downplay when facing students or people who opposed said government
The faculty would blatantly accept any form of under the table money to get your stuff through with primary focus
The campus was constantly in a ran downed state and it felt like we had just travelled millennia back in time judging on the state of some very obvious assets

Course Curriculum Overview:

My selection of the said course curriculum purely came from my own consciousness and interests as I'm a huge Nerd for commercial knowledge but I'd say that the curriculum is a bit outdated and needs to improve a little bit as to make it more comprehensible for students like some parts of the factual data were lacking a hard dialed analysis and rather felt a brief summary which was kind of underwhelming but other than that the course was an actual Thumbs Up

The Lalbaba College

Likes

Behaviour of the seniors are the best in the college very supportive to juniors and friendly.
Teachers from English department are so good.
Infrastructure of the college being updated day by day for the sake of the students.

Dislikes

Sometimes your classes get cancelled without a notice.
Notice system isnt so good as not every notice being uploaded to the college website.
Teachers from bengali department arent good at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am a stident of B.A. HONOURS ENGLISH UG this course is as wide as you cant even think the deep knowledge you get about the socity the revelution literature and opportunities to express yourself indipendently is the one of the main reason to choose this course. exams are frequent. In every 6 months Exams are being conducted for each semester as there are 6 semester.

The drama team in our college is great as it has a wide range of ideas and good seniors who supports everyone
The sports department is also good and encouraging
The fashion team is also great and it also everyone with chances to everyone to themeselves

Dislikes

The college rooms are not ac based which makes hard in summers
The mid seniors are not so great and are greedy
The college students are being differentiated on their looks

Placement Experience:

The students of this college are eligible for the campus placements from the 3rd year in other words during the 6th semester and the student must have over 7 cgpr and the offers are quite good and companies such as siemens, air india, tata and etc has came to take students and to hire them

You have plenty of rooms all open and a big library for studying in silence as such no improvement needed.
My engagement with each and every staffs and teachers was very engaging and thr were very helpful and supportive. Professional courses are also taught and proper guidance are provided
Each and every subject was tought with base knowledge and counselling sessions was held every week for each and every students. It has a turf too play cricket football volleyball etc. and a indoor gaming room

Nothing too dislike as it has been a very good college

Since childhood I was attracted to nature,so i choose this course and the very girst Scottish is everyone's first priority.. This is like a dream that i get a chance in this college. Our college's exam is conduct on the basis of Calcutta University's CCF syllabus.

I'm happy zoology as my major honours and microbiology as minor for my first two semesters and botany as the next. Interdisciplinary courses are offered and can be chosen by the students, each one per semester for three consecutive semesters. Skill enhancement courses, constitutional value courses, and language courses are also available.

Likes

My college offer seperate timing of classes for female students.
All the faculties and teachers are very cooperative. They also give the opportunities of placements.
My college offer amazing infrastructure, amenities, and facilities for all the students and staff.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about my college is that they had no rules and regulations for dressing and get up of students.
There is no such restrictions for students regarding smoking and chilling outside the college.
They give more preference to the students of their community.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I chose for me has very wide aspects as it gives us so many opportunities related to our future work or job offering. The course prepares me very well to take the experience of banking sector, as this course mainly aims to achieve our goals in the banking sector.

The faculty of the college is very good especially in our B.A department
The college is cleaner than the other colleges
The students and seniors are very helpful

Dislikes

The college is little bit politcal for the union
The labs are not clean most of the time.
There is social but the management is very bad

Placement Experience:

Compared to the other colleges, displacement are not Very good, but. Within 150 students, 50 students got selected in the company qualities. Then they got the starting salary of 10000 Mainly, we have 2 company is coming in our colleges, which are precious, and they prove were the masters and compared to other colleges. Of our colleges, placement is not very good

The opportunities to develop soft skills as in seminars held where you can be a speaker and present a presentation for your group
The biggest event Xavotsav helps you show your skills in the entertainment field
It provides you with a pool of placements which is a remarkable feature

Dislikes

The campus is not that big as shown in pictures
College promotes some specific sports only like football and basketball
The dress code and discipline is stricter than school and they make you sit roll number wise

Placement Experience:

placements are average to low. Some big companies do come and offer a great salary but demand an extraordinary CGPA of 9 and 9.5 which is very difficult for the level of papers set by St Xavier's college.
