This course total cost 30,000 rupees in divide 6 semester in 3 year, this course have lots of scholarship, financial assistance like swami vivekananda merit cum mins scholarship was the best scholarship in west bengal
The campus was beautiful and the professors were friendly and helpful.
Placement services are also good . around 60 percent student get placed

Dislikes

I really disliked how late our semester exam are held. this causes problem for 6th sem students as they can't apply for other places early.
The placement is really not good and many of the students hated internships and jobs for the medical representative designation.
The staff gets rude sometimes and are not helpful ( some of them)

Scottish Church College review by a Sem 1 student

Likes

The faculty is extremely good. Most teachers are highly experienced.
There are two different canteens. The food is alright.
Students have the freedom to choose their own outfit for the day.

Dislikes

I disliked the way notices are often given at the last moment.

The course curriculum has been satisfactory for me. Oue faculty makes the materials even more interesting and as an english honours student, an affection towards the subject is very necessary for pursuing it.

My Review of Scottish Church College :)

Likes

Presence of Actively working Activity Clubs.
No entry without id cards ensure that random people can't enter the college campus. This is good for security purposes.
The old buildings are still present which depicts the heritage of North Kolkata. New buildings with modern infrastructure are also built.

Dislikes

The college's Annual Fest CALEDONIA isn't taking place for the last few years.
While the semester exams of other colleges are over, our exams are never being held on time. The University is the reason for this not the college.
Fees are slightly higher compared to other Colleges under the same University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I studied Humanities in Class 11 & 12. In my 12th Boards I got 97% in best 5 subjects. In college I have opted for Bachelor of Honours in English. This Degree mainly focuses on English Literature and it's History. In the First Semester our syllabus focuses on Poetry. This subject is a good choice for those having passion for Literature and Book reading.

Faculties are excellent by teaching. they guide you in good way.
student and administratative conversation must be more frequent and admin should clear the doubt of students by a meeting.
placemnet isnt there in college, but govt can initiate it , it would more beneficial for us.

Dislikes

political parties are ruling in college , that should be ban in educational places.
campus is old and not clean enough. also buildings are not maintained properly
canteen is not provide good quality of food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Interdisciplinary opportunities are very good after taking the course. practical experience can make you mastery of that subject with theoritical reading. topics are covered in the brought way. ensuring the student's doubts. depth of knowledge delves deeply into essential subs. allowing students to develop expertise in key areas. by the overall course, technical knowledge also baked you like good quilty of cake.

the guy who had no plans for future

I like the ambience of my college which makes me feel the history and the beauty of the classical things including the statues, pictures, rooms etc.
I love the college atmosphere too where there are no signs of ragging and student politics.
The professors and our faculty are quite nice and they provide us with many solutions, guidance and motivation too.

Dislikes

The girls to boy ratio is way too odd where the number of girls are 35 + and the boys are 15 +
The washrooms are not tidy and hygienic. Even for the water filters.
Canteen are not quite good, although it does and fulfills the work and it's cheap. The quality isn't that great.

Placement Experience:

From the final semester, the students get placements offer. Till now, companies like Amazon, Tata, IBM etc have visited and made offers to plenty of students and offered jobs too. Percentage of students are roughly 60% based on placements. For me, after having an English Hons degree, i would sit for the cat exam and pursue MBA. Later when I am independent and have a stable job and life, i wish to sit for UPSC and do civil services.

Well disciplined college and very good environment
Best and sweet teachers with lots of experience

Dislikes

There are total 5 floor in the college building but the lifts are available to be used only by the teachers
Late fees for library borrowed books for all students
Events and concerts are very frequent as compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

We get placement for jobs from sem 3 and very big companies like kpo tcs etc offer us to give placement. The highest package recently was 320000 from tcs and 20% of students have got the placement and has started working.

My Life at AJC Bose College

Likes

The teacher are very helpful, insightful and knowledgeable
The Holi party in college is like anything you've ever seen
The library of the college has some jewel books

Dislikes

The old infrastructure, which has been upgraded in par with bhavanipur education society
The previous canteen, which is also been upgraded with focus on hygiene

The curriculum covered wide aspect of history of English literature to mediaeval period, victorian era, renaissance, patriotic literature of India and modern autobiography. The curriculum also focused on literary criticism, encouraging student's original opinion

Likes

We have eminent faculty. The faculty is very cooperative and understanding. The overall building of the college is well maintained and provides many facilities such as library, lab, and office staff is very familiar.

Dislikes

Only thing I disliked is there is no phone facility like any time we call at the office phone , nobody picks up the call

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Commerce degree provides various useful information. I always had keen interest in Commerce and pursuing bcom degree helped me acquire a vast amount of knowledge related to commerce, accountancy, Economics, Financial Management and Mathematics. It helped me grow in commerce field very well.

Teachers explains concept in 3-4 ways and they are very kind, understanding , friendly which I like most
College conducts many sports activites, seminar, webinars too
Debates competition , Quiz competition in different colleges are conducted here

Dislikes

1st campus infrastructure is very good but 2nd campus building looks like a haunted place with only one floor which I don't like.

Placement Experience:

Yes, College provide placements but maximum are outside kolkata. College provides councellor for resume making and interview preparation. Also, college provide link and list of companies hiring freshers graduate with satisfactory salary.

The infrastructure of the college is really nice and premium
There are various recreational activities you can apply for
The annual fest of the college also known as "umang" is stunning

Dislikes

The campus is very small considering the amount of student it has
There are no grounds because of the small campus
The college canteen serves only pure veg food

The curriculum prepares you for the university exams perfectly, although I'd suggest theres always room for improvement but this college does progide a good curriculum for the students to study and achieve their goals

Rammohan college at a glance

Likes

The professors are very helpful and knowledgeable.
The campus is pretty good, specifically the new science building. It has a lift although only for staffs. Lots of greenery around. Good laboratories. Purified water is available. It's a girls college. But for post graduation its coed .
A museum is there. It's the house of the great Raja Rammohan Roy. It's so beautiful.

Dislikes

The library is not that good . Mostly old version of books are available.
It's a morning college so class starts from 6.30 am which is quite tough for some people.
The two buildings are quite afar. You have to walk a good 5/7 minutes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So Physiology is a vast subject with so many opportunities. You can opt for medicine, research or even in academics. I've heard about working in the beauty industry too . The exam difficulty is high. We have so many applied curriculum to help us with the future field.
