This course total cost 30,000 rupees in divide 6 semester in 3 year, this course have lots of scholarship, financial assistance like swami vivekananda merit cum mins scholarship was the best scholarship in west bengal
The campus was beautiful and the professors were friendly and helpful.
Placement services are also good . around 60 percent student get placed

Dislikes

I really disliked how late our semester exam are held. this causes problem for 6th sem students as they can't apply for other places early.
The placement is really not good and many of the students hated internships and jobs for the medical representative designation.
The staff gets rude sometimes and are not helpful ( some of them)

My experience in Heritage Law College

Likes

The first thing I liked about this college when I first visited was the campus. It is huge and something straight out of a movie set
The second and most important thing I liked about this college is how friendly the professors are. They help us with everything. The environment is great for studying.
Another thing I like about this college is available transportation near college. It is well connected with the city and situated near busstop which is great

Dislikes

There is nothing much I dislike about my college but maybe we could add some more classrooms that will be really great

The main thing that I love about the curriculum is that we need to study in depth. Our syllabus contains most basic to really professional level stuff which really help us prepare for real life experiences and further academic pursuits. The only change i would like is more practical experiences that would be helpful.

Heritage Law College is a heritage of legal studies!

Likes

Our college campus is seperate from the engineering campus and it's a full fledged law campus.
Our college has hostels within the campus and that's a real boon.
Our college provides intenrships in top law firms.

Dislikes

Placements are poor as not even half the class is placed from campus.
Students are too many as intake is very high in our college.

In the final year when some law firms and legal houses of Calcutta High Court approach our college for placements. If one gets at top law firm them the packages are around 8-10 lakhs but if under a lawyer the salary is just 2-3 lakhs a year.

I liked the college premises as well as the faculty members
There is canteen available for students, AC library available
The college premises is neat and clean, everyone cooperates well

Placement is not available in this college
There is no availability of scholarship for students
we have to find our own placements. there is no placement structures

Moot courts takes place. Excursion for Supreme court takes place. As well as High court. Faculty members takes us for court visit. Inter college moot court competetions also being held foulr students. Faculty members encourage us for equal participation

Memories in March - A true fact about My College

Likes

College Atmosphere is electric as its lash green surroundings complements the rich heritage and culture it possess.
Cultural activities from various resources were also a great memory of my college days. We took part in freshers welcome, Football tournament, Chess tournament and various life learning seminars arranged by the Theosophical Society.
Faculties of my Political Science department were super helpful. Patrali Maam, DB Sir, Sudeepto Sir along with Pallavi Maam were the pillars of the department.

Dislikes

In my times, there was some union related issues which somehow effects daily college life.
Administrative department was not so active that times as many of the students were unaware about the indicative routines or fees payment date due to their mismanagement.
There was no proper kitchen or Canteen those days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was fond of international reletaions in my +2 days, thats why I choose Political Science as my honours subject over History. Hence. later I found very boring and monotonous in the first year of its syllabus. After having 3 years of immense syllabus, I have finally fall in love with subject in the final as my beloved IR(International Relations) subjects finally came into my life. There was yearly only one exam contains 2 parts accumating questions.

Likes

Faculty was knowledgeble and very well versed with their specializtions.We could ask problems and the teachers helped us with our doubts without hesitation
Physics Laboratory was well equipped with newer equipments recently purchased
Faculty were helpful in case of administrative problems and helped us with anything outside the curriculum

Dislikes

Infrastructure of college was sub-par.Not well maintained. Elevator was present but there were several restriction to students.
College has wifi but the connection is too weak to be of any use.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.The faculties of modern physics and computational physics were exceptional and in my opinion the best in the city. 2.Since i was more inclined towards modern physics i chose this particular college. 3.The curriculam prepares the students for higher studies like masters and doctorate. 4.The frequency and timing of exam coincided with calcutta university. 5.Areas of improvement-Better Equipment for Optics lab and more digital equipments.

Likes

The campus is beautiful, neat and clean .
The quality of the infrastructure and learning is quite good and remarkable .
The collage provide travel allowance to those students who have to travel for a long distance .

Dislikes

The campus life and the quality of social interaction is not that good . The college must have to look on to it .
The teaching method and the mentorship quality is not good .
The effectiveness of the placement services is not good .

Placement Experience:

The students are not eligible for campus placements when they are in the college . The percentage of students getting placements after the collage is around 20% to 50% varries upon the course and the performance of the students .

Teachers are very helpful .. They teach very well, explain the lessons clearly.
They help with notes , and conduct good practicals
Collage have decent rooms , washrooms and give comfortable

I like the social work so i choose the course . I help everyone with counselling . I think everyone consult psychologist or councillor for developing their mental health.. this is very important in now days . I think your proper study 3 to 4 hours it's can solving problems

The faculty is nice along with the teaching staff.
Recently our college has made a very large library as well as a dedicated canteen for us.
Two seperate turfs as well as a half court basketball ground has also been made

Dislikes

The road which leads to the college is full of potholes so it's a bit problematic while commuting.
The excessive amount of vacations the provide sometimes.
The fact that we can only loan 2 books at a time from the library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm enrolled in the bcom honours curriculum and this is on of the best course which is offered by my college. Majority of the teaching staff consists of the bcom teachers, who specialise in this course this encouraging me to take on this course specifically.

Honest review of CU as a B.Tech student of ECE

Likes

Knowledgeable and helpful professors. Professors here are well qualified and always eager to help.
Big and clean classrooms with ac. The environment in the classrooms is quite good.
Class size is not very big, around 45 students is perfect for a class.

Dislikes

Shortage of professors, though the professors we have are very good and helpful, they fall short in numbers(especially in 1st year)
Lab equipment can be better, physics and electronics lab fall short of equipment in terms both of quality and quantity.
The curriculum teaches us the basics of what we would be needing in the professional field but it lacks the new improvements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem. From 2024 placements SMS group, PWC, TCS Digital, Airport Authority of India etc. Around 50% from ECE opted for placements other opted for higher studies. My plans are to apply for jobs.

To improve in bkosciences focus on digital skills like bioinformatics and coding and Teaching methods are lecture - based learning , direct instrucction . B.Sc in bioscience this is three year undergraduate program divided into six semesters .
