Also some scholarships are available for students like single child scholarship and score above cgpa 60% are eligible to apply for scholarship.
The faculty is good and their qualifications are very much impressive and they are supportive too and whenever the students need any guidence or help related to their studies the teachers are always welcoming them with their open arms .
The college conducts the induction programme for our best and also the program for the student who has an interest in sport, drama, dance, and singing they also get the chance to show their talent.

Dislikes

Conditions of fans and lights in many classes is not at all good
The internal number of the faculty is much lower than in other colleges.
The college staff's behavior is behavior is very bad also the teacher's behavior is very bad.

Likes

College is very neat and clean ...the college is is really greenery 🌳💚
Inspite of being many students,our principal and the faculty members of our college maintain the discipline..
As I am a Psychology student our teachers, they are really very helpful.

Dislikes

It's difficult to say to dislike..but in our college teacher can't stay in the college whatsapp group..thus we can't connect with them as well
And the class schedule.. I live far from the college so it's difficult to attend all classes as the class schedule is poor(I know it's my problem)
Rude and unsupportive faculty (except few)..

I choose Bsc. psychology honours ... It's a interesting subject and I also loved this subject so I choose this.. It's a well prepared... Our college faculty is good they will help to pursue the course easier

This is a ragging free campus ..the environment over there is very nice.
The teachers are gentle and friendly among the students
The faculty is very motivating and supportive

Dislikes

The classroom needs to be more clean and well maintained
Washroom needs to be clean and the door needs to be closed properly
There is ac in the classroom but it's not working and those projectors need to be maintained for presentation

Course Curriculum Overview:

The department of anthropology has the best teachers .... overall it's a good campus . The frequency and the timing of exam has 4-5 months gap in between the take enough classes to complete the whole syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no specific aspect to choose this course because I am bad in all other subjects and I have to complete this degree level that's why I choose this course This course is helpful for real life if you really focuse on the matter that it wants to teach Teachers need to focus on real life matters more then history That's short we need proper timings thus it is a 6 month course we overall complete it in 3 and half months because of the poor management in higher ups and in each institution

The enviroment is good there is peace in the whole college.
The laboratory is well maintain.the lab attender is friendly in nature.
The teachers are very knowledgeable in their study area. They always guide you

There is no food available inside the college.
Their mobile network is work properly because of poor network connectivity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is about the study of man's past,present and future. So it helps to understand how the modern human and their culture evolved over time. Their are three subfield available and these are Biological, social and cultural , archaeological anthropology. The most important things is feildwork research. The subject is very interesting. Its have reallife applications in the fields of resherch,public health,social impact assessment,genetic counseling and much more. The teaching methood is quite easy and its also helps to get a job in goverment sector.

OUR BHAIRAB GANGULY COLLEGE

As i think bhairab Ganguly college is overall a good college. Im college we have facilities of study and many things. College campus is too good and clean. If we look into the college library then there are every books provided for studying and focus
One more thing i like about Bhairab Ganguly college is that our college focus on social works and events. They always give a social message through events and programs. For example, planting trees,debate on current affairs and talking about women etc
Teachers are very good and motivating in our college. Teachers guide us amazingly and they listen to our problems . Teachers give us notes before exams so we can learn from those notes and write more better in exams. Overall teachers are hardworking.

Dislikes

Firstly I dislike college's decision on internal exams timings. They give us only 1 hour to write answer of 14 papers of sheet. This is too hard to complete. Only few students complete the paper. Other students only write what they can do in 1 hour.
Bhairab Ganguly college's parking area is not fixed . Many students park their vehicles where they want to. Because of this other students face problem. In my opinion college should have a different and separate place for parking the vehicles.
Water connection is not good in Bhairab Ganguly college. If you want to drink water then you have to go to 2nd floor for use of drinking water. And many don't even know that our college have drinking water supply. This is too embarassing moment .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall my course is good and suitable for me but one thing that i didn't like is exam timing. Exam timing is too short . Students have to write a 14 page of a answer sheet within 1 hour. This is almost impossible. College should change this rule and should extend the exam timing.

Beyond the campus: a review

Likes

I've liked and appreciated the quality of the faculty of my department. They've been good guides in the field of my academic journey so far.
The college holds placement drives once every year for the 3rd year students. I still have one more year to go before I can experience
Being a general degree college, the infrastructure is well enough to fit the needs and requirements of the student body.

Dislikes

I've disliked the scarce amount extracurricular opportunities here. It's there but it's not upto the standards that is essential for college going students.
The Xerox and print facilities are either permanently shut down or closed most of the days.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards I believe. The highest package comes up to 3.5 lakhs a year and the lowest package comes down to 1.5 lakhs a year. I'm not really aware of the percentage but students with science and commerce backgrounds have a higher chance. My plans include to continue on the line of academia and pursue higher education.

The college Environment is perfect....also the teachers are very much helpful through our studies.i had English honours...I had difficulty at first but the way they teaches is was very beneficial for me . moreover the people from union was very helpf

Honestly there is rarely anything that I didn't like . I miss my college life so bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had opted for English literature in college.at first I had that I'm not well acquainted with that subject, but with time it got easy because of my teachers as well as my friends, easily I got comfortable with the subject.

Very good campuss and very good teachers

Dislikes

The location of the college RRKGP but not very bad
The transport system is kind of not good
The Weather is too hot but tolerable as you enter college

Placement Experience:

You can get high opportunity to get placements in campus and the Teachers offer campus placement. The companies are very good and the provide almost average of 175000 per annum. And almost 85% of student got a placement from this college

OUR GREAT COLLEGE

The college's campus is very big and clean . Teachers are very polite and motivational. Teachers guide us to achieve our goals . They help us to study good for upcoming exams. Teachers give us notes and guide books for learning. Students are safe .
Every year Bhairab Ganguly college organise a fresher party. The college's canteen is very clean and good. Their food is not too expensive.
Bhairab Ganguly college always focus on social works . Our senior and union members always attract youth towards teh social works.

Dislikes

The exam timing is not in the internal exam of college. They give us 1 hour to write 10 pages exam . It is heavily hard to do it . Few can complete it .
College parking is not too good. We see many students park their vehicles where they want . Atleast they should apply a rule for parking

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this course on my personal experience and basis on my skills. I think subjects of B.A are suitable for me and i can learn and improve my skills by this course. I definitely believe this course will help me alot in future.
