Also some scholarships are available for students like single child scholarship and score above cgpa 60% are eligible to apply for scholarship.
The faculty is good and their qualifications are very much impressive and they are supportive too and whenever the students need any guidence or help related to their studies the teachers are always welcoming them with their open arms .
The college conducts the induction programme for our best and also the program for the student who has an interest in sport, drama, dance, and singing they also get the chance to show their talent.

Dislikes

Conditions of fans and lights in many classes is not at all good
The internal number of the faculty is much lower than in other colleges.
The college staff's behavior is behavior is very bad also the teacher's behavior is very bad.

Bhairab Ganguly College, one of the sweetest colleges of Bengal.

Likes

If you class sincerely, you'll not need any tution or books.
The bathrooms are very clean, also the premises & canteen too
From the final year you'll get multiple opportunities of internships and jobs.

Dislikes

The behaviour of the office staffs are sometimes very bad.

Placement Experience:

The placements were good. I also got a job & still doing it after 1.5 year of passing. Also after doing English honours course you can easily become a teacher or do jobs in communication fields. Also it makes your vocabulary & spoken English good that helps in any kind of interviews.

Infrastructure is really nice, all the professor are very friendly and helpful they try to cover up all the syllabus classes are regular and seniors used to be polite and helpful.
Washroom are clean as compared to other colleges, there is also sanitary napkins vending machine, where girls can easily get sanitary pads in just 5 ruppes, it has multiple washroom water tankers where u can easily get cold and clean purifying water.
Library is huge , with lot of book storage, principal sir try to slove are the problems patiently and each year there is a education fair in January where all the students represent there department and try to involve with the college .

Dislikes

The college canteen food is very oily however tea is good but the food quality is very poor
Attendance is big issue u have to maintain 75% of attendance to get marks in internal since there is a weightage of marks regarding attendance
Student union involvement is a bit disturbing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I m so much inspired by my professor that i really wanted to be one like them i wanted to be a professor like them and teach the students like they do . The difficulty level is medium, however u get enough time. The teachers are trying there best through online as offline method however if there would be some historical trips it could be great

The faculty guides us properly in any situation
The infrastructure of the college and the field is very good.

Sometimes, the office staff doesn't inform you about few things.

The couse curriculum is very helpful for the people who wants to establish their future based on finance.There is a sir who is a chartered accountant and has his own firm and also helps other students and teaches them practical work over there

College Give us Schollership For ranking 1st . College will give refund of Our paid fees to college.
Anti ragging and big beautiful Camus area.
Good And polite Teacher's Behaviour that's very important to a student.

Dislikes

In Department or class room haven't any A.C.
Doesn't arrange any seminar or occasion to us
5th floor available but lift is only for Teachers, that's a bad things.

My opinion on DDMC

Likes

Campus is friendly, has greenery, we have a nice playground.
The faculty for English department is very helpful with excellent teachers.
The canteen is nice with good food for the students.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old and the college is lethargic about it.
Classrooms need restoration. The washrooms need to be improved as well.
The buildings are quite old and dusty and needs cleaning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally liked English from the very beginning and this led me to choose this course overall. Our college even provides with programme for Masters in English for further curricular achievements. The teaching methods of the teachers are friendly but good. Exams are conducted after the completion of syllabus in every semester.

Teachers, staffs, maintaince, specimens are good
Canteen present, and variety of food available.
Library present with a central library and each department having its personal library

Parking is not good

Yes am good with my major course, its very knowledgeable. Teacher made studying easy. We are provided with notes, ppts, slides, pdfs etc. Exams are taken for better preparation. Viva eith theory practicals ate taken.

There is very big size and beautiful campus
Teachers are very friendly. I always got help from them

Dislikes

I dislike the location. Transport problem belongs there
Some teachers are harsh. They need to be more soft
There is no canteen since last two months

The specific curriculum that influenced me is the campus, and the good behaviour of Sps Sir. The Curriculum not prepare me that much for real World applications or further academics pursuits. They should improve the lab

MY SECOND HOME

First of all i like the cheap tuition fee that is available in the college.
Students from different parts of the state come here to study, thats why social interaction is quite high in the cumpus.
The surrounding environment is very green and the accessibility to the college is also quite good.

Dislikes

The college is not at all properly maintained and not cleaned properly.
The bathroom are very unhygenic and dirty, the taps do not work properly and breaked windows everywhere.
The water is not at all safe to drink and water purifiers not at all work properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really liked the subject of geography that's why I had selected it as my graduation subject. The course provides me with basic knowledge in the subject of geography which will further help me in the domain of the subject. The course highly lacks the absence of internships and hands-on training in the related industry which should improve. The exams held in the college are quite difficult which helps the students to check their own preparation for a particular paper.

The thing that i liked the most was the affordability of the fees in the college.
The professors were very good and learned with a bag full of experience.
The environment and location of the college was very student-friendly

Dislikes

The college was very poorly maintained and no proper cleaning toilets and other stuffs were noticed by the students.
The college administration kept up with the cultural functions, but failed with organising sports events.
Every department had a equal number of boys and girls. Thus, the ratio was quite equal from my perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

As, i liked the subject of geography that is why i had chose it. The courses which had been taught were very much interesting. But i had a major problem, that the college did not provide us with any internships where we might use and make real-world experience. Internals were held every mid semester which was rather very hard but the students managed to pass.
