WBUAFS Faculty

The faculty at this institution is the only one of its kind in West Bengal and ranks 6th in India. Our faculty is great. Teachers take extra care for the students. They also arrange special classes for the students who are lacking the interview and communication skill. They also give extra information about the subjects and toics of Dairy Techno.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is 13:2 and the faculty to student relationships ship is great whenever we face any problem we are allow to go to the teachers room and the guide through our problem so they are really approachable. Sukumar De is an renowned Dairy technologist, who was an ex student and its professor in our University, whose book is studied in nationwide in most of the Dairy Technology colleges. Dr Surajit Mondal is and renowned scientist who is an present faculty in the department of dairy microbiology who is doing research with starter cultures. I personally don't like any faculty member but it depends on students to students. We have eight semesters. In each semester we have 1 midterm or internal exam and one external exam. So we have 8 x 2 that is equal to 16 exams and now it depends upon teachers to teachers who can take class test of maximum 30 marks. But the class test numbers are not added in our internal or external marks. Not more than 20% student fail.

Me and College

The faculty serves warmth and displays a beautiful environment of peace and health. Its quite aloof from the main town, decreasing the crowd flow. Seminar rooms are quite big with built in projectors and ACs. Dedicated classrooms for UG is a necessity and you get it. For PG students, the departments are quite bug and adjustable.

One of the best Dairy Technology college in India

It is the only one faculty of west Bengal and also the 6th ranked among whole India. I suggest everyone to admit on our faculty. Icar and word bank also funded for better educational activities, as this is belongs to agriculture field so that anyone can get better facilities.

My college review

With high educational qualifications and constant on going research programmes as well as other practices in Veterinary the teachers focus to give individual attention to each and every student. Overall experience is very good.

Aquaculture is the mother subject. So I am very interested about aquaculture. othe subjects are also good but not like aquaculture. Fishery Resources Management is the very hard subject to me. Aquatic animal health is the 2nd favourite subject.

Best college in West Bengal

I am quite happy for my faculty. Faculty teachers are also very helpful. The labs in our college is very good and full of better experienced lab teachers. The professors helped us to achieve our goal of success and they cleared our doubts.

Very unique B.Tech Stream after 12th

The faculties of our colleges are most of our Alumnis, as this is the only college of dairy technology in west bengal, so they really support the students in studies as well as every matter like a senior, they always teach good things and they always teach how to react in industries when we would be placed.

Good

A growing one. May be more developed in near future. Academic system is very much controlled offering a veriety of courses. Hostel facility available.The cost of accomodation in hostel and food is comparatively less than others.
