The teachers the realy good . education quality is so good
This college is very much old , it established in 2004 , here many cultural programs like freshers, fest , rabindra jayanti and some medical programs occurs which help you to relax also become knowledgeable.
Location of my hostel is quite good avery thing is near

Dislikes

No annual or tech fest are organised.. so we get bored
Very monotonous also old concept ... no students association are there don't have any rights to say anything
Tuition costs: the high cost of tuition and student loans can be a significant source of stress and financial burden.

My college life

Likes

College is being redeveloped and library is fully furnisged now
Some faculties r really good and also funnier sometimes
When u have a problem both the student union and teachers a accessible and they help a lot

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and make a issue out of everything
I hate some faculties they a full of ego specially the ones in 1st year u need to be on their good side else they will wail u
There is no shops or food centre outside the campus for about 30 min walking distance

I always wanted to be doctor but couldn't enter into mbbs so yes im here now... I kind of hate it here the whole college life but then sometimes it is good being a part of it and if nothing then i will be a doc at the end of 5 yrs

The teachers are helpful and highly qualified and good at their content
The labs are spacious and well equipped in order to get a better practical hands on experience
The security of the college is very strict and the wardens are very cooperative

Dislikes

The student quality is poor and not very friendly
The college is not very student friendly .
The old people are now not in the college anymore thus we have lost the home touch

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the teachers just read from the PowerPoint presentations without giving much explanations about the topic. That decreases the students concentration and interest to study the subject from within. We are taken to the hospital where we deal with hands on patients.

Professors are very friendly and helpful
Senior junior relationship is also very good
Academic fest , cultural fest , saraswati puja , holi, ganesh puja every festival is celebrated

Dislikes

You have to share your room with 1 friend you get to choose your roommate
Room size can be little small actually it was designed as a single room but due to increased batch strength they have made this for 2 people
Food quality can be improved. It not bad but should be improved

There are some problems with this curriculum like you didn't get that much clinical exposure in 1st 3 years you are just remembering data But you can go to clinics by yours and ask your seniors (pgt dada and didis ) for help

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and it is in developing stage
Lecture theatre is just like cinema hall where you can sit comfortably and attend lectures
Faculty are very highly knowledgeable and helpful

Dislikes

College Canteen food is very disgusting but you have an option to eat outside
Some staffs are so arrogant and may cause problems

MBBS is a very vast course comprises of 19 subjects which is to be completed in the duration of 4.5 years. It is a very respectful course . In exams 3 hours are provided for 100 marks theory paper and practical exams are taken separately

My medical college review :")

Likes

The study environment. It's academically really good. The professors have expertise in their field. And academics is given utmost priority in this institute.
As it is a medical college, patient load is really important to learn the clinical skills well. In this regard there's more than enough patient load. It's common to see crowds of patients outside the hospital at anytime.
The college canteen and hostel is really good. There are 3-4 canteen in the clg and all of thenm serve really tasty food at affordable prices. The hostel college provides is also really good and most importantly with a monthly fees of ₹19 it's best.

Dislikes

There no. of events taking place is not much. Most of the programs are arranged by the student body. The college administration only conducts a few events each year. This is a thing the college can improve on.
The college washrooms are not at all good. They are really dirty.

The curriculum is designed to dhspe you into a doctor who is ready to save lives. It prepares to treat people and fix their illnesses. The exams are conducted regularly both theory and practical to ensure all round developent of the student.

run by central government so the fees structure is very affordable
good patient load so students can learn a lot
good cultural programs and functions related to the courses offered

Dislikes

Bad location as water logging problem is there
hostel situation is average could have been better
renovation works and expansion of college area should be done

My Dental College

Likes

The college is very good, with very good patient inflow
The only negative aspect is the the college doesn't have its own hostel facilities
There is no seat for postgraduate so the intern and housetaffs get greater exposure of practicing and the ratio of boys to girls is almost equal

Dislikes

There is no hostel facility so the students have to live outside college in PGs which os costly as compared to government hostels
There is not PG seat, so students sometimes face alot of load
There is not college auditorium, so all the meeting and special program has to be done is a small. Classroom

The teachers are very supportive and we have practicals and Clinical postings from 3rd year. We are given 10 patients each from 3rd year to treat. I think instead of two exams we must have two small weekly tests so that our memory power can increase.

A look into the MBBS life at RG Kar Medical College

Likes

The campus contains both the super speciality hospital and the academic building so the theory and practicals go hand in hand
Presence of a large number of canteens in the college campus
Presence of a great auditorium one of the very best in Eastern India and an ATM counter from SBI

Dislikes

Absence of a playground for the students
Small campus just near the Kolkata Station with excessive and regular honking from trains
Hostels located outside the campus one even as far as 3 KMs

MBBS is a noble course it's a course which teaches us how to save lives this is one of the major reason for choosing this course along with it the respect and financial stability it provides. The curriculum is tough so is the art of saving lives.

Likes

It’s a great place being a government medical college.
Great place communication wise. Sealdah station is 1.5 hours of train journey away.
Food is hygienic, cheap and tasty in the hostel canteens.

Dislikes

Still a backward place considering it being a municipality. Not much to do here.
Snakes are common in the hostel and college.
No cab service in the town. Only e rickshaws.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cirriculum is inclined on the theory part with clinical exposure beginning during final year and internship. The hospital is packed day and night with patients so learning could be a bit difficult and exhaustive. Exams are adequate and do help in retention of knowledge. Rest everything depends on the students of what they wanna make of themselves. Exams includeboth theory and practicals. Supplementary exams for when you fail. There are personal WhatsApp groups of every subject where students can interact with the faculty members and solve their questions.

Habbi -bi come to HIHS

Our College is so good at cultural and study.Every year we got a feast.
Our teachers are also so good and friendly with us.
We have our own physiotherapy clinic,where we treat patients.

Dislikes

Our College has a Canteen but only in women hostel,so the boys has no permission to enter there.
Not All students were placed after finishing their course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I came to know about this course from my brother-in-laws and my father or relatives. They told me to purchase this course, it will be very good for my future. The BPT course is a little bit tough but interesting and it is a developing course.
