NIT Sikkim Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

college placement in our college is good almost approx 90%. cs and ece are good in the internship because many companies come in our college for cs and ece there is some problem for core branch in out 30 students almost 5-6 student get an internship but if you want internship from core branch then you should learn some coding subject and get admission.

Placement is good for CSE branch only with average placement is around 6 lakh for CSE other branches mechanical and civil have a very low placement you can start applying from 4th year for placement and for an internship you can apply from 2nd year highest placement is around 15 lakhs percentage I would say 90 for CSE and 50 for other branch but it will increase when the permanent campus is made.

The placement facility is good for NIT Sikkim. but there is no good for civil and mechanical students. Except for civil and mechanical departments all the branches are good in terms of placement and internships. There are lots of tech companies that came for selections of students. 90 % of students are selected every year.

Placements are good here in nit sikkim if you r from cse ece branch then aprrox 90 % student get placed but there is problem for core branch specially civil and mechanical almost 2-3 student can get job in core company and 10-12 student placed in coding subject company .

After the sixth-semester students are eligible to apply and the companies that major comping is Intel, Powergrid, Bosch, LT, Abbott. The seventy percent from my batch has gone a job. I opted for higher studies.

The Placements are very good. So Many students get placed at very high package. The college focuses on the overall development of the students,so that they can fulfill every requirement of the companies. Faculties are also very much cooperative with the students, they make students understand the concepts and ideas very easily. Students of our college are very creative that they continuously participates in other curriculum activities that usually happens in our college. The most fortunating thing of our college is the environment of the surrounding as our college is in Himalayan Range near to Kanchenjanga so the atmosphere is cold and pleasant over there. People donot get sick easily by any disease there.

My reasons1.FIRST OF ALL IT IS NIT SIKKIM,AN INSTITUTION OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE.2.EDUCATION AS IT IS NIT,NAME SAYS IT ALL. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE.So these were my reasons for joining this college.

No. Not any bad remark for college or its management. Just the transportation may be uncomfortable as Sikkim is a hilly area.

If you're getting NIT SIKKIM, it's probably because you're no good to be in better NIT and have the last option but to stay here. So at my counselling, it was the college I got through my OBC rank which was around 28k.

Because it is a nit.
