BITS Hyderabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college is itself very popular for its placement standards and the college is among the top college in India that provides good placement packages. The placement committee plays a very important role in the placement process as the committee is fully responsible for the placement and they are able to invite good companies for placement. The highest package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was approx 16 LPA.

The BITs placement records are awesome and BITS Hyderabad is also not behind. The college placement record is 100%. Top MNC visits the campus for the recruitment process. Companies like Accenture, Apple, Paypal, VFS Global, Oracle, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, TCS visit the campus during the placement drive. The highest package went up to 20 LPA and the average package went up to 13 LPA.

Placements are the best part at BITS. Almost everyone fets placements in a good organization. Top recruiters are Accenture, KPMG, VFS global, Cognizant, Indiamart, Rubiue, Maybank, Flipkart, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Apple, Paypal, TCS, HDFC, etc. Business analyst, business development associates, management trainee, B.A. management, are the top roles that are offered. The average pay is around 9LPA and the lowest is around 8 LPA.

BITS recorded one of the best placements in 2018. 98% of the students landed in some awesome conglomerates. Deserving students got the highest package around Rs.40 LPA. Major participants in the placement week were Absolut Data. Bharti Airtel, Commvault Systems, Ericsson India, D E Shaw Software, Facebook, FMC, B&S Engineering Consultants, Bank of America, CE Info Systems, Maruti Suzuki, Oracle India, UCO Bank, TCS, and ZS Associates. I also landed in Pfizer with a great CTC.

The placements are good. IT placements are up to the level of IITs, and non tech placements are okayish with firms coming for a product, consulting and business roles. The CTC are above average going up to 50 LPA around.

BITS was ranked as one of the top four best B schools in India. It has a very high reputation among Indian Universities. SO this was reason enough for me to pursue MBA at BITS. The eligibility for the course was B.Tech/ B. E or masters in any disciplines. CAT/GMAT scores were used for shortlisting. The registration cost was 2750 rupees.

BITS pilani got ranked at 6th by times of India with providing excellent opportunities in the filed of internships and job opportunities. My selection in the college was based upon my CAT scores and the marks I secured in my graduation and at last a interview round is held by the dean.

It is a Tier 1 college and is recognised as an institute of eminence. It has a strong Alumni network, both in India and overseas. The professors are passionate about their respective fields. The college has good academic and sports infrastructure. However, the fee is quite high and increases by 15% every year.

The placements used to be very good in BITS Pilani, but this year (2020), due to Covid placements gets a hit. But still, all the CS & Electrical students get a very decent package in FAANG companies. Most of the core branches people like Civil & Mechanical also got placed in some Non-tech companies, although the packages are not so good.

Good placement results from the college every year. The placement unit works around the clock to ensure maximum employment for the registered students. Compensation packages are generally high, and definitely above average compared to other colleges across the country. ~100 companies visit the campus every semester for placements, and >95% of the students get placed via campus placements. The unregistered students go for higher studies for MS/MBA/M.E.
