The annual and technical festival is Meraz which is held in November. There are differnt types of books including novels, course related books, jounals, research paper. Anyone one can issue any book. There were no restriction. It was a smart class whith all the software and tools. Multiple sports were offered at the school incliding football, cricket, badminton, table tennis volleyball. and chess and all were free for all. Yes there were multiple clubs like dance club, singing club, designing club. all the clubs focus on student to enhancing some certain skills.

We have our techno cultural annual fest called Meraz. Along with this various other festivals and events are held regularly. Our library contains a lot of books either related to academmic or non academics. The classrooms are equipped with blackboards and whiteboards with projectors. We have a lot of extra curricular activities in between the semesters. Various sports and othe competitions are held regularly. There are many clubs for everyones interest either it is technical or cultural.

The biggest annual cultural tech fest is called MERAZ. The fest happens for 3 days and you find a lot of stalls, games, sports, tech workshops going on during that time. Also you get a DJ Night, a Band, a Singer and a Standup comedian every year during the nights of the last 2 days of the fest.The meraz takes place in the month of November. Our iconic building, the library is a huge place with a lot of books from all domains. You can find books there from the range of books required for the courses taught in the college to the fictional and sci-fi books for entertainment and also divine books like Bagvadgeeta too. The facilities in the classes are very well, you get wifi mostly everywhere in the campus.You have proper working ACs, Lights, Fans and well designed chairs.Also projectors are there in all classes for any slides projecting and presentations and high strength classes has mikes and speakers for the faculty to make voice audible to everyone. Sports is one of my favourite thing here, you find well facilities for sports.There is a sports council seperately to take care of the sports facilities and many intra college sports meet are held in a year to keep the sportsmanship quality active in the players. You can find grounds for all sports but football and athletics ground is not proper as it will be constructed in the 2nd face on the new IIT Bhilai campus. You also find many social groups and clubs here, like Nirvana which is for LGBTQ people, you also mental awareness groups to take care of mental health of the people here.And many other social clubs like dance, drama, photography, filming, art clubs can be seen.

Our main annual and techno clutural fest is MERAZ it happens for 3-4 days minimum. Library is the main key building of IIT bhilai it is very -very good. Excellent seats and AC are installed and very lightings and many book, newspapers , novels etc. Clubs are okok kind.

Clubs and social activities are great and we have an active social environment here and we have clubs and sports that will cover almost all of your hobbies wether it is dance, singing, band, painting, quizzing, litrature or any sports or anything we have you covered

The campus is so good , it has many pro's and a bit less cons according to me.We celebrate lots of festivals from both north and south parts of india. Recently we completed the annual fest of iit bhilai which is meraz . Meraz is famous worldwide. Many celebrates come and perform live , which feels so good to see them live.

The name of fest of here is meraz which is central India biggest techno-cultural fest. The sports fest being celebrated here is known as prayatna. The air conditioned library is big enough and has 1000+ books of different subjects. Regarding sports facilities, we have dedicated sports ground for football and cricket, badminton and volleyball courts are available inside hostel only. Many student run activities like nss, groups include finance club, literary club (goals), beathackers, swara , Renaissance etc.

so the annual techno cultural fest of iit bhilai is Meraz and it is held in november -december and it is a great fest for both tech and cultural events we invite so many well known people for different sessions and so many celebs comes and perform for the cultural events. so there are a lot of books in the library basically it full fills the needs of the students. so as i mentioned that it is new gen iit so the tech used everywhere is latest. sports is still growing as the campus is taking shape in coming years it will be at peak

We have 2 college fests organised this year as Google dev fest which is technical fest and a techno-cultural fest named as MERAZ. We have a library building with a lot of books. All the lecture halls are modernized with air conditioning and projectors included. We have several sports tournament throughout the year .also we have cultural tournaments. And a variety of clubs organise a variety of sessions for the students to learn and explore different fields.
