Presidency University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester the placements starts and the eligibility criteria is 6 and above. Since I am writing the finals of 6th semester as of now I don't know the offers from the company. The companies which have visited earlier are Capegimini, dell, deltax,tata elxsi,TCS,tech Mahindra,etc.

Presidency university offers diverse course's for all the students. The course curriculum that opted for is computer science engineering with the specialization of blockchain. I opted for this course due to it's vast growth in the modern technology but the university is hardly giving any real time application knowledge on the subject. The exams are done too fast, they are completing a sem within 3.5 to 4 months with only a midterm and a end term with no practical knowledge . They have 8 to 9 subjects in one sem . The mid exam are completed too fast, they keep two exams per day making it hard on the students. The subjects have 4 module in them and the exam question are directly from the module making the students by that the module with gaining any knowledge. The exams are easy compared to other universities in Bangalore.

There is no much placements. Although there are placement training sessions which is provided by the university . It can be seen that, it doesn't have a good placement record. Students are eligible to attend the placements from the 7th semester .

From 6 th semester onwards students are eligible for placement. Vipro and made offer 453 and some international company are also visited. Highest package offered 12 lpa offered by vipro and Average package is 6lpa and lowest is 3lpa

Students are eligible for placement from the 6th semester Many companies like tech Mahindra, Wipro , Capgemini, HCl , Infosys, IBM. Visit our campus for recruitment Highest package is of Rs 1700000 and average package is of Rs 400000 Around 80% of students get's placed every year My plan after a degree is to continue higher studies in the same University

The curriculum in the college is very good they have a different curriculum as compared to other colleges..including personality development classes and many other placement ready courses which enhances the skills of the students and helps to crack any campus interview

Students become eligible to placements from 7 th semester and it continues till end of our college as we know there is recession going on most of companies did visit like tata elixe,dell,ibm, accenture ,musigma and few other good companies including lot of startups but very less students got placed in technical jobs but college made sure to place all of us in non technical jobs for name almost 2 k students got places regardless of technical and non technical.the heightest package was 8 lakhs from some company lowest went as low as 1.7 lakhs .I think i will not trust on this college campus and find my own job after college

Course curriculum is not so good then not so bad also at the same time. I believe it's moderate. As they complete the semesters in 4 months including internals and external papers. They provide a wide range of courses for the students.

The course which we have taken was masters of computer Applications and we have Java and python in 2nd and 3rd sem and we have MySQL and data science,toc, adda it very important subject it will explain everything detailed when the code

Since I have taken law with bcom. Bcom subjects were barely there and had no focus on it and would love a little more of it. Talking about law yes the faculty and subjects are great but there should be more opportunities regarding internships and moot courts. Also help out students to go to other colleges to participate in moots so we get an idea of what it is all about to interact with fellow law mates
