Presidency University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are offered by the university. Multiple internships and Placement arrangements are being made by the university. Field trips are also arranged before an intern is placed. Nearly 75% of the students get placed.

The placement at the university is quite average comparing it to the fees they take. Many companies like Deloitte and Capgemini visit here. Students become eligible for campus placement last year. The average package is around 4 lpa to 6 lpa (SOE).

7th semester with a CGPA of 6.5 with no active backlogs are eligible for placements. I don't which company, but the higher package this year was a CTC of 10LPA (I think TCS). Almost 80% of students get placed. I want to pursue a job for 2 years to gain real fieldwork experience and the lab to pursue my master's.

From the 6th sem ending they start giving placement companies are coming both it and sales are coming for every branch companies are coming and its companies are newly launched or newly opened only good it companies also come but not more.

Professors are friendly not at all problems with them. The curriculum is not that bad as per my observation but u will gain a lot of knowledge through the process. Coming to sem exams we will have assignment-1 for 20 marks, test-1 for 30 marks and assignment -2 for 20 marks, test-2 for 30 marks and finally sem for 100 marks total of 200 marks for the sem per subject. The assignment we can complete easily not a problem for it. You will get good results if u study for at least one day for the Test and sem.

Campus placement is quite average keeping in mind the amount of fees they are taking. The average placement of SOE is around 4-5 LPA and MBA is around 8-9 LPA. This aspect of the University can be improved.

From the 7th year onwards students became eligible for campus placement. No. of Companies Participated 321. No. of Placement Drives Conducted 489. No. of Students Placed 2001 Percentage Students Placed 97% Average CTC, LPA 4.76 Median CTC, LPA 4.00. Highest CTC, LPA 11.00. My plan after getting the degree are a job.

From the 7th semester, students will be eligible for placements. TCS, Capgemini,Mphasis,studique,skillvertex like these many technical and nontechnical companies have hired many students 100% placements will there in our university.

Students will be eligible for placements from the 7th sem. Since I'm still pursuing 6th sem I don't know exactly but I know a few companies like Capgemini and TCS. As far as I know, the minimum package is 3.5 to 4 and the maximum i don't have exact idea but it will be above 12
