GEHU Dehradun Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From,5 semester they can run their preparation and from 7 semester they can get placement or job or internship etc.. Highest is 50 lakh/annum and as lowest as 5 lakh /annum. students get the placement depend on their ability skills acquired.roughly around 10-20 percent of students can get placement and this no.can fluctuate. I have planned to get work experience of industrial area or and to proceed my career in QA/QC.

Currently, I am pursuing my btech from graphic era hill university dehradun, placement is good from 5-6 semesters students become eligible for campus placement around 100 companies visit campus every year

There is always 5 to 6 subject in my course and all are having 5 chapters and there are two exams in one semester one is mid-term consist of 2chapter included consist of 50 marks and then the end term has 100 marks each

Faculties are very supportive and are always there to help you out in your difficult situation even if you have a back paper. Staffs in the library and in different areas are also friendly, and teachers there try to do their best to teach as much as they can to make you a knowledgeable person. Exams are held on time.

I choose this course because since childhood I have had an interest in Computers, so I decided to do something in this field, hence I chose B.Tech. There are so many faculty in our college, the ratio of faculty and student is nearly 1:30. Every faculty is highly qualified and should have good teaching experience. There are 2-3 rounds given by every teacher to be selected. The exam takes every 3 months of the semester, which means 2 exams in one semester, one in mid and another at the end. Some exams can be tough but most of them are easy to pass.

Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Companies like: LTIMindTree: 800, Capgemini: 980, Accenture: 790, Amazon: 24, GlobalLogic: 990, Cognizant: 970. The highest package was: 84 LPA. The average package was: 7 LPA or 5 LPA. Our college has a record of 100% placement. I will try to earn more and grow both physically and mentally in my life.

For placement after 6 semesters, you become eligible for campus placement but in 6 sem some companies also come and provide opportunities it's not fixed here students are open to opportunities and the campus also helps them.

As I am persuing Btech I have a lot of teachers . And overall they all are well experience and helpful but the teacher to the student ratio ruins it all. At present in my class there 75 students so you can guess how difficult it is. All of them have different teaching styles and teach with there heart not just come and go to the class .Academically gehu is very good teachers pay quite attention i am in the first year i have to go through all the domains of engineering and have minimum 10 subjects to read and learn including lab practicals. Exams are conducted regularly and cheating is must . Without cheating all the students except the toppers one are going to fail.

According to my course whose duration is 4 years the students are eligible for campus placement from the 8th semester. Companies like Wipro, Tata, TCS, Microsoft's, etc. visited the college and had given a good no. of placements to the students. Approx. 60 to 70 percent of students get their placement.

The faculty are decent some are nice some are just for the sake, make notes from YouTube and just write those notes on the board and doesn't explain well. Restriction on various things such as dress and untimely assignment and the submission date is provided just after the assignment.
