Likes

I liked the campus of our university. Teachers are very cooperative.
Practical exposures are also there to create positive results and for better understanding of the subject.
Lab is very good. We can do practicals very fruitfully.

Dislikes

Timings of exams. Non engaging to more internships
Rapid decisions are taken. No discussions with students
Internships and placements are very low in number. Admin block members are also not proper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually psychology is a very interesting subject. I myself have developed many such beneficial skills from this course. I start to explore myself. I view people with the things that i have learned till now. I try to apply it socially. Eager to learn more and create a greater impact in society

I like the environment of this college very much. Here everyone is quiet and confined to themselves
The faculty members of this college are very good.
Quality education is provided here. And everyone here is very helpful.

Dislikes

The administrators of this college are not very good.
Nothing much happens in this college on time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Practical, real life examples, friendly discussion, helping to understand patiently if something is difficult to understand, inculcating in students the mentality of reading and understanding rather than believing in rote learning,etc. made it very interesting to me.

Likes

The green college campus and the different types of trees.
The college library which is air conditioned.
The H7 hostel which is newly built few years ago. I've good memories in there.

Dislikes

The H4 hostel and the hostel rooms which aren't spacious enough.
Hostel canteen and the foods in there. Worst to be honest.
The medical harbour and the doctors in there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am studying bachelor's in applied psychology and it provides me an outstanding career opportunities to continue with after post graduation. Like I am thinking of studying Industrial Psychology in post graduation and be an industrial psychologist.

Very environment friendly. There is so much greenary in the campus
The no ragging policy. There is absolutely no ragging even if any one does it strict actions are taken.

Dislikes

There are only very very few programmes conducted in college every year
Maintainance of classrooms are so bad in many buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and everything is good. I think if teaching method includes more practical ones it would be good otherwise the curriculum is good and the wieghtage of studying in every semester is balanced.

An honest review of TNU as a student

I really liked the campus at my first visit and I'm pretty sure anyone else would like it too who likes greenary. The campus is well maintained with greenary everywhere, you'll not find trash here and there.
Also in our college ragging is strictly prohibited. We have an anti ragging cell that takes care of this particular problem. If a student complains about getting ragged by other student and it gets proved then they takes strict action against them.
In my course our faculty members are very supportive and kind. If you have any doubt regarding anything they'll be always there to help you.

Dislikes

The hostel food is really not appealing. The hygiene and everything is not properly maintained and also the food quality is extremely poor. The hostel fee is also very high. Mainly the food is super low quality.
At first you'll be told that there are many faculties but when you join the college you'll get to know that there are very less amount of faculty members present. And this will effect you class schedule. Also the classrooms are not that good either.
In monsoon the campus literally drowns and you'll have water over your feet. The water comes inside the hostel canteen and also I'm the ground floor rooms as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was wanting to take a admission in a private college that provides BSC in psychology. I searched and found out about this one I got to know from my relatives and friends that this college is good so I took admission. But when I took admission I got to know that except the faculty members everything else is not that appealing. The classrooms are not that good. We were told that we'll have ac classrooms but we weren't. The frequency of exam timing is pretty high. You'll have to give you exam in a gap of one month. Minor test I (25 marks), Minor test II (25 marks), semester exam (50 marks). Semester examination occurs in every six months. You will get less time to prepare.

Placement is excellent. Average package went this year was 3 lakhs. Popular companies Godrej, fish feeding etc. visit with great opportunities and offers for students. Course is excellent and provides best opportunities.

Likes

The college campus is very good. There is various types of club in the college like ( drama club , dance club , art club etc) which helps us in other fields. The college library is very big and there are various types books which hepls us for study.
There are various types of course in the college. In this college the classrooms are in very good condition . The facilities are very good .
The placement of this college is very good .

Dislikes

The behavior of the cashier and Assistant register is very poor

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college is very good . Poular hospitals such as Apollo, AIIMS etc provide great opportunities to students for their bright future. Highest package provided was 10 lakhs. Minimum 75 percent of students got placed.

From semester 6th students become eligible for campus placements.many of companies visits and made many of offers.students get avarage pakage as 4 lakh per container. approx 90 to 95% students getting placements.

Facilities such as gymnasium, swimming pool, library and cafeterias are excellent
Placement cell is excellent and the faculties are superb as well with full support like a backbone.

Placement Experience:

This university provides good place with nice amount of package. Students in 4th year will start getting offers for various companis. Popular companies such as Cipla, MacLeods, Apollo, Glenmarketc come to hire students with ample number of offers. Thie highest package went this year was 4 Lakh/Annum. Percentage of students getting placed varies every year according to their performance in college and also in exams and company interview. College's placement cell is good.
