It is costly to study for lower-middle-class students. Mess fees are quite high according to its quality. I have not received any financial assistance from the institute. The institute provides scholarships for 2nd and upper-year students.

Our tuition fee is 1lakhs/semester which is common in all IITs. Other fees which include mess, hostel, and other extra stuff are approx 50k/semester. Many scholarships are also provided for weaker sections and also for meritorious students.

Fees are very high and there is no scholarship provided by the college there is a policy that there is a 7% fee hike every year which is a very bad policy and hence I think there should be less fee as it is a govt college. My fee for my course is 150000.
