Dislikes

The curriculum that may be some time not fully aligned with current trends.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell that work to connect students with potential employers . The college also often collaborates with various industries and companies which help in reputable organisations for campus placement. The placement cell provide training programs.Also focus on skill that demands in the jobs market.Consider also pursuing higher studies such as masters in specialized subjects.

All about college

Likes

Location - The college was between the hills and our hostel was so close to the hills. So the view from there was so nice and amazing.

Dislikes

Strict regulations - The rules and regulations of the college were just like of a school.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I am interested in this and wanted to learn about this further. As we know physics's rules apply in our surroundings and we don't know how. So to want to know about these rules and how to apply them in real life , I took this course. The difficulty level was quiet ok ok .

Reality of IGU

The university is the institution of the comprises of different courses like art and literature, science , and other professionals courses and they having the authority to provide degree in different fields so the students can get better job .
The professors of mine university is really helpful in our studies and also they provide their notes to the students so they can well prepared for the exam . We can get any guidelines on our future . They also conduct the orientation programe .
The youth program of our university this is the bestest thing I liked in my university, different programs are conducted and having many competition. The students also earn money in the youth festival .

Dislikes

I never liked the exam checking of this university. Many students get the re appear in their exam seems like university get half of their income from the money of the student's re appear form . And the re in exams are not cleared easily .
They never conduct any extra circular activites only the youth festival are conducted during the whole year . We didn't know where the university use their money. The students can not developed their personality in the university.
We didn't have appropriate buildings/ department in the university it need more building to conduct all classes . Many times some classes are cancelled due to inappropriate space . The computer in the lab are also not working .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am commercian student and wanted to do graduation and in this university campus only m.com hons. 5years integrated program are available so i tale admission in this course before this I did know is it helpfull for me or not but now I think my decision is right as the teachers are not teach us only the subject material in the class but also they teach us about investment in the shares , also motivate us to take online courses which help us to personality development and also helpful at the time of job interview or PG Admision interview. But still the teaching methods of university needs to be improve as all are not perfect so the teachers need to taught us the practically also not theoritical and by using digital gadget so the students can make their full concentration on the study and they didn't feel bored. The exam level is not so difficult the students can complete his/her paper within the 3 hours it's the enough time for the students .

All about IGU

Likes

There will be more time to utilise after classes for study and personal growth .
Complete day classes usually done in after 12 pm or just 1 pm.
The labs are well equipped with computers and have more space and less people who are concentrated on their study .

Dislikes

The teachers and mentorship of colleges is very poor.
There will be no extra circular activity other than classes like contest , hackathon.
Network and wifi are very slow and sometimes there is no network.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is overall ok but the real world application is zero . The job and scope are better in this engineering course but the chances of oncampus placement in this college is zero . Changements can be done for practical and real life things to organise contest of coding and hackathons .

It is constantly growing and developing in every aspect like infrastructure and its working on making a new auditorium for students and also it has library where we can find any type of book related our courses and can study there peacefully
Its greenery is very beautiful and it has recently included new courses like bba ( which was added this year ) so it’s constantly developing and including new coursesand the libraries have ac to cool us in hot weather
The computer labs are very good and the campus is equipped with free wifi for students where we can access the wifi anywhere in the university campus and it provides hostel and mesh and cafeteria facilities to the students

Dislikes

There are a lot of courses which are yet to be added
The transport facility is poor because the population of students is a lot while the buses are few in numbers due to which many students struggle to travel which is a bug problem and negative point
This university does not focus a lot on extra curricular activities like sports for inter university and such so it lacks in sports culture

The curriculum is really good because my course is BTech computer science and engineering And I choose this course because it is computer science and the department has well equipped computer labs with fast and smooth working computers where we can do programming and coding and learn and grow So choosing this course was a good decision that i took

University campus life is good . Faculty is also very good . You can enjoy your campus life . There is no placement after msc but you can do PhD after clearing csir net jrf exam in which ₹30000/month scholarship is provided.
Girls to boys ratio is also very good ,eg in my class equal no girls are present as boys ie 1:1
Hostel is available for people who comes from abroad cities , bus facility is also available

Dislikes

There is no placement for msc students in university
University is very new also it is located very far from city
Canteen and hostel are not up to the mark . Their service can be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

Master of science (mathematics) course is useful if you want to do PhD in mathematics or want to became a teacher of mathematics. Scholarship is provided for doing PhD if you clear csir jrf exam . Curriculum is good . Exams are conducted for every semester ie 4 times . You can easily clear exams if you are average student .

A Small College

Likes

I liked the college campus. There is greenry all around.
I liked the library of our college, issues required books to the students.
I liked the computer lab of our college ,sufficient PCs are available.

Dislikes

I didn't like that there is no strictness towards students.
There is no stictness towards class attendence
No proper teaching system. Minimum programs held in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

•My college have a good course curriculum which is relevance amd comprehensive it helps reach students to develop different skills. •There is a 3hr time period for examination. •Teachers must be strict to improve students skills.

Decipline in college and modern technology used in labs .

Fees is high not affordable for everyone.
Far from city area not public transport as much .

Every vehicle coming inside the campus is checked for security issues and a wide parking is available. Campus contains a lot of greenery. Different buildings have different departments. Every floor has personal toilets and water coolers.
Many students from IGU have made many products with the help of lecturers and they have successfully participated in make in India programme. University supports these students and even help them in financial aid. They are given scholarships.
To do Masters there is a good thinking because various programmes are organized there for your self development including seminars, presentations, student-teacher interactions, quizzes, competitions. Well equipped labs are there.

Dislikes

There is nothing such to dislike but one thing that can be included is most of the university is currently being made that can be added as a plus point but since university is being completed that can be a disappointment.
Sports events not occur on a regular basis as I have been going there for almost a month but I haven't seen any sports being played there. Maybe after sometime events will happen but currently I have seen none.
Transport facilities are not that good. Students who have not their own vehicles, they have to wait for a good time to get roadways buses or rickshaws.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in MSC Zoo in igu contains biochemistry, biotechnology, invertebrata, cell biology, biostatistics, and mentor-mentee meetings along with different seminars. Its good as it gives overall development in the field of zoology. Teaching methods are also good which include smart classes, labs, practicals, assignments, and presentations. All classes are held every day. Teachers are present regularly and For further academic pursuits, doing msc in igu is a good idea. The timing of exams is after every 6 months generally and regular tests, competitions, and quizzes are organized. However, for a student a break should be there between various lectures but it is not there. All classes are held after every 1 hour which doesn't give free time to students.

There is good college for average students

Likes

Environment is so peaceful and good infrastructure
You can reach college either by bus or train
There isa strict discipline and noone destroy the rules

Dislikes

College is not having good placement and internship
There is less equipment in the computer labs
It is situated inside the village you have to walk long to reach college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen ECE . It is nice course which is going in high demands with 2 or 3 years there is only single placement of 10 lakh which is from ECE. Electronic is coming in highly demand . Many people uses electronic vehicle or gadgets
