VIT AP Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements in the college are excellent. Almost 90% of students are getting placed in various companies every year. The highest package is 34.40 LPA and the average is 9.23 LPA. 904 companies including HP, ISB, Google, MRF etc visited in 2023.6500+ dream offers for students from different companies.

CSE students are the students who get high-package placements. But CSBS students also rocking on the university as we are just 300 students everyone is getting jobs but with around 7.5 lpa Or less. CSBS' highest package is 23 lakhs. I am planning to get an MS in Australia.

the course curriculum is the same for all the branches and specializations of CSE until the 3rd sem. But from the 4th Sem, you can take whatever subject you want, thanks to designing your own degree facility in VIT. you can even take mechanical engineering subjects when you are in CSE and vice versa. we have a good faculty and with lower faculty-student ratio. exams are easy and we even have open exams for some subjects.

The students get eligible in their eighth semester for their campus placements. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and ITC have visited. The highest package offered is 56 lakhs per annum. On average around five to 10 lakhs per annum is offered. Mostly all of the students get their placements. I plan to become a football player after my degree.

For my rank, I got CSE which is the most popular course during my time so I ended up taking this course. Even though the professors are highly qualified with PhD, but they are not at all good in teaching except some Indian faculty. VIT is very serious about academics. We often get exam every month but officially we have three exams per semester..

I am interested in technology so I am in CSE. From my childhood, I was very much fascinated by computer hardware devices and I got enough rank to get VITAP in APEAPCET. so I am here in VITAP. We have good faculty but their way of teaching is very bad everyone is highly qualified with PhDs from either an IIT or an NIT. We have cat 1 cat 2 and fat exams each semester. you can pass them easily if you study for at least a day.

I am very much interested in taking computer science because I have a dream project to do in the ML field. I dont have many options in choosing the university because it is the only private University that is good as per the details in google. Exams are quite easy if you are good at studying. I like the teaching way here, education is so good, many ways to develop yourself. I think the students here are more than required, faculty is less in number.

Intel, eBay, Amazon, Dell, Hitachi, HP, Honda, and many companies visit for the placements. The highest package of this year is 23 LPA and the average LPA is 6 LPA. Up to 90-95% of students are being employed by placements every year. My plan after my graduation is to do a job for 2-3 years and do a masters in an institution if I have got any industry.

In Andhra Pradesh, VIT is famous for its placements. The reality of campus placements in VIT AP is you will get a job for sure but after the scenario is changed, our seniors get jobs, but companies are not giving offer letters to the students. Companies haven't given offer letters to some of the 20th-match students until now. We have the highest package of 60, lakhs per annum and the average package is around 7.5 LPA. I want to be placed in a good company with a decent salary, This is my future plan after my degree
