VIT AP Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students of 3rd year are requested to avail of an internship at the end of 3rd year so that they pursue a full-time internship during their third year and then have a greater chance and opportunities after the end of the fourth year in the placements. After the 5th semester usually, you are eligible for placement. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, PayPal, Goldman Sachs, etc. visit the campus. The highest package last year was around 63 lakhs and the average package is around 10 lakhs. Almost all the students get placed but their package varies. My plan is to pursue MBA.

Yeah, the faculty was really good and had friendly nature even though they are trying to interact with the students as much as they can. And coming about the teaching in VIT-AP was really good which will help for us.

Placements at our college are above 90 %.at the end of the 3rd year all students complete their credits and prepare for the interviews. Some companies connected with the Vellore campus are also collaborating with the Vitap campus. In 2022 highest package was 64 lakhs and the average was 12.5 lakhs. There are a dream and super dream offers up to 12 lakhs and above.

You need to clear all backlogs to be eligible for the campus placement drive which will start in the sixth semester(3-2). You will sections: regular, dream, and super dream. The package of regular would be 3 to 6 LPA. The dream would be 6 to 11 LPA. My super dream would be 11+lpa At any given time you can only have one from each section. So if you want to apply more salary offer for a section you have to reject the previous offer so it may get tricky after you placed.

I choose this course because the placements are good for computer science and engineering and also I wanted to study AI as it is the future. The college has a very good student-faculty ratio of 20:1 and has 1 faculty per 20 students. All the faculty teaching here are highly qualified Ph.D., and MTech from IITs and NITs they have also published research papers and also have good knowledge of the subject. Some teachers are really good. I will say you will find some good for every subject you study but you will have to choose them during ffcs because their slots get filled very fast. The college follows a relative grading system which I think is good if the paper will be tough it will be tough for all and the average of class we are less and everybody will be graded based on that. No teacher misses even a single class and all the lecture materials taught in the class get uploaded. Here a lot of assignments, quizzes tests all are added and evaluated for marking the student.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the Third year of college. Last year, a whopping 844 companies visited VIT-AP, with a total of 2186 dream offers, and an average CTC of 7.3LPA. 5800 students were placed last year from in-campus placements. Internships are available from the third year of college, after attaining which students must move to the states where the companies that they have been placed in are based. The highest package last year was 63LPA. Every single student in VIT-AP has gotten a placement so far. Personally, my plan post attainment of degree would be to work as an intern/full time employee in whichever company I've been placed in, and after a few years, attempt for a masters degree in the same course.

I don't know much about the placements and all but hearing it from my friends the placement are good. but everything depends on ur CGPA should maintain a cpga of 8.00 minimum. So below that cgpa placement chances are less.

Placement starts in the final year of the UG program and continues until all eligible students are placed. The University has a robust network of recruiters from various industries who visit the campus for recruitment. In the past, companies such as Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, Microsoft, and many others recruited students from VIT AP University. Need a minimum of 7 CGPA to sit in placements.
