NMIMS Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students of all semester are eligible for placement be it either internship opportunity or final placement of job.Students who opt for placement only get placements.Opt out students do not get placements.

Mostly it's the corporate houses as Pitampura Industrial area is nearby and therefore law students are in demand. However, we wish that litigation firms start coming as working there is everyone's dream.

The course outline is relatable and helps in practical learning as well though some times sone topics seems to be senseless and wasteage of time but overall helps students for the future and this happens all becaus of teaching methods which makes students to learn that subject in a better way

Khaitan & Co, The Solicitors and MP High Court Law Firms as most have been hired for MP state firms only. National level law firms and corporate are yet to join hands but once it happens placement percentage which was 60 in 2024-25, will shoot to 80+ and avarage placement which were 6 lakhs will shoot to 12 lakhs a year.

In 5 th year students are eligible for the placement this year 2 for the students got placement because it's only 6 years of launching ba LLB course in the college and for this year process is still going on

The students are eligible to sit for placement from last semister of their course. Different and reputated companies such as Grand Thornton , Delloit etc. along with other big financial companies last year that is in 2023 highest package was 24 lakh and placement is not 100% . My plans after this degree is if I get placed then I'll have some experience in the corporate world otherwise and then side by side prepare for CAT or GMAT and if not placed I'll aim for IIM and colleges of GMAT

After 5th semester students get eligible for placements but the placements never happen much because nobody wants it as the average package is around 300000 and people spend around 10-12 lakhs for their degree without including hostel. 95% of people belong from business families, people either plan on joining family business or getting a master's degree from abroad or an MBA from India. Still there was a 2% placement rate last year 5 people got 300000 package out of ab batch of 189 students out of which highest package was 350000. My plan was also the same pursuing MBA after my graduation.

The curriculum includes subjects like physics , elements of biology , Engineering graphics and design, programming for problem solving, calculus , critical thinking , professional ethics , and their labs too which is somewhat the same as many colleges but further in coming semesters it is said to be very practical according to the real world applications , Teaching is done by ppts mainly which are sent ot faculty from the main mumbai campus . 2 mid term tests of 10 marks is conducted twice a semester and then term end exams are conducted

THe curriculum prepares us for the corporate world since a lot of our studying is focussed towards that area. We are asked to wear formals while presenting anything and a holisitc teaching is given. Areas for improvement would include a more focussed approach on what happens in the corporate world. Also there are a few subjects like Yoga that should be optional but are mandatory.

The placements are not good so far. As of this year only two companies came out of which one was providing package of 14 LPA but it did not select any student and the other one was rejected by college itself as it was providing package of 4LPA.
