It is very easy to get admission in this college. I got admission on the basis of the 12th mark sheet. You also have to give an entrance exam to come in the merit list as there are few seats for the course.

The students must pass the UPSC entrance test to gain admission. Indian Association for Cultivation of Science [IACS] is a scientific research institute based in Kolkata. This is the reason that students have to clear the entrance exam first.

Admission to UG-PG and Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D. is based on the entrance exam conducted by the institute. For UG-PG, candidates need to appear in the UG Pre-Interview Screening Test (UPST) while for Int. M.Sc -Ph.D. they have to take the Master? Pre-Interview Screening Test (MPST) exam. The final selection depends upon the Interview round.

Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science [IACS] is a scientific research institute located in Kolkata. The Institute is funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and the Government of Kolkata. In order to get admission, the student will have to give Entrance Exam UPST.
