- While Arizona State University offers many benefits, there are some areas that could be improved. Required Exams for Admission
Overall, the experience at Arizona State University is academically satisfying and comprehensive, with plenty of opportunities for research, internships, and career development. However, one area where the university could improve is in fostering greater diversity and inclusivity among its student body. Some students have expressed concern that people of different races tend to stick to their own groups and don't mingle as much as they could. Despite this challenge, many students still find the overall experience at ASU to be positive and fulfilling.
Course Curriculum
They update the course curriculum with up to date topics. Yes, some practical courses do give exposure to industry tech. Option is available to pursue research.
Faculty
- On an average the faculty to student ratio is ~1/50 - Faculty are very respectful and approachable - Dr. Christian Arenz (Professor for Quantum Computation). His class was excellent and exams were very comprehensive. He gave individual feedback for everyone in the class for the students regarding the course and their future.
Campus Life
- Library facilities excellent - Wi-Fi had problems at the start of the semester due to large crowd, but gets better as semester progresses - Sports facilities are great - Lot of excellent clubs are there - Very happening place with lot of events during the semester
Placement
- They provide a lot of Career fairs for UG students and lesser for masters students - Median Salary: $110,000/annum for masters students
Accommodation
- Accommodations are extremely expensive at ASU - People usually rent out rooms outside ASU at any nearby apartments

Tuition Fee - ~$13000 for each 9 credit (30 credit in total) Insurance - ~$1900 during spring (includes summer as well), $1400 for fall semester Misc. Fees - ~$1000
Scholarship
Yes. Engineering Graduate Fellowship. They gave me $1000 for the first year. I do have to apply in the fellowship portal (I think deadline is on march every year) and write an SOP as well.
