Required Exams for Admission

GRE (316)

My overall experience here at ASU has been amazing. The people, faculty and staff are very helpful and the courses that are being offered here are very practical and flexible. The facilities provided by the university are truly amazing and help us students excel in the field of our study.

Course Curriculum

10

The curriculum is amazing and very flexible. It gets update every semester to include latest developments in that field. We are given an opportunity to get a Curriculum Practical Training for industry exposure during the summers.

Faculty

10

The faculty to student ratio is very high compared to a lot of other universities. All the faculties and staff here is amazing and very helpful. Professor Arunabha Sen taught me Foundations of Algorithms which is a very hard subject but the way he designed the curriculum for the course made it very interesting and helpful for me to learn this course. Also Professor Hannah Kerner taught me Data Mining last semester during which I worked on a project with her on early detection of Alzheimer's Disease using Machine Learning. The project was very impactful and I learned a lot from it working under her.

Campus Life

10

The campus life is amazing at ASU. So many groups to join and socialize. Best libraries like Hayden and Noble for studying. WiFi coverage in the whole campus. Sun Devil Fitness Center has all the best sports equipment for the students here at ASU.

Placement

9

The opportunities after degree completion are great. There are campus fairs every month where the top companies of the United States visit and help students apply for jobs easily.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

I am living off campus on a double sharing basis. My rent is around $500 per month. Other options available are on-campus housing ($1000 per month excluding food) and private room accommodations that costs around $800-$900.

Exams

My scores: GRE 149 Verbal 167 Quant 4 AWA; TOEFL 23 Speaking 22 Reading 24 Listening 26 Writing. SOP and CV was required. The SOP should contain the purpose of pursuing the degree, the reason for applying at the university, why you are the perfect candidate for this university and how your interests align perfectly with the objectives of this degree.
