I'd say it's very exciting, there's always something new to learn, something you've never done, and opportunities are plenty, There's a holistic development process that one goes through I guess, not only at the university but also otherwise, managing household stuff, managing your money and time. There's no one to do your stuff for you, so it really puts you to work!

Course Curriculum

10

Very relevant, there are abundant opportunities to get involved in research.

Faculty

10

I do not have an exact number for the ratio, but the faculty and staff are very qualified and some of them are quite famous. To name some Dr. Paul Westerhoff and Dr. Otakuye Conroy Ben.

Campus Life

10

There are several clubs, and student organizations one can be a part of! Libraries are open 24/5, the campus has WiFi everywhere, the recreational center is free of cost for students and is open till late hours.

Placement

Placement process is quite different from what we are used to in India. Companies do not conduct campus placement drives, they'd set up a table at a career fair, give information but it is really your responsibility to follow up, and apply online. LinkedIn being the best resort, it is up to you to find relevant roles, companies, and apply. The university does it's best in providing all the resources such as resume writing workshops, cover letter writing workshops, resume review portal, proper format. These can be very useful. Environmental Engineering is a program with very good opportunities.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

It is best to find roommates and share a room/apartment in the beginning. Once you get comfortable and know the place, you could always shift. It is quite common for 4 people to share an apartment with 2 rooms and the rent that way comes to around $450 per person per month here in Arizona. Again housing markets in the US are insane. It depends and varies in different places.

Exams

I had just given GRE ( 318/340, Quant: 165, Verbal: 153, Writing: 5) and IELTS (7.5). And that's all you need. I had to submit 3 LORs and 1 SOP. Make sure you try and tell your journey and why you want to get into the specific major. Make sure it's genuine, and not everyone has a specific reason or just the perfect story, but just try and elaborate on the process. Mention the courses that made you interested, the internships, online courses, life experiences, volunteer work, etc. I didn't have any interview

Fees

I believe it is somewhere in the range between $15000-$16000 per semester. This is only the tuition. This does include your medical insurance provided by the university. Living expenses would be subjective.

Scholarship

No, I did not receive any scholarship, but do try to apply if you get the chance.
