The latest programs offered to UG B.Tech students are CSE(Data Science) , CSE(AI&ML), CSE(IOT), AI & DS and CSE(Cyber Security).

What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt?

The following factors that make this B.Tech program is best for student in Sri Indu Institute of Engineering and Technology are :

(i) College Infrastructure (ii) Placements (iii) Innovative teaching (iv) Industry oriented training etc.

What would you say are the “best practices” in the course you’re offering?

Our best practices are student-centric, and they follow the focus on Collaborative learning, Support for Critical and Design Thinking, Skills, and promoting and encouraging student club activities. Some of our best practices are:

  1. To maintain regular academic activity efficiently.
  2. To ensure the availability of data for stakeholders.

  5. To provide transparency of the data and the activities

What are some valuable insights of the program that you are offering at your institute?

This institute encourages innovative and effective strategies for improving student success. The institute focuses on current challenges to persistence and completion and the demographic trends likely to further compound the issues in the future. Teaching students to apply knowledge and skills to benefit others or serve the public good is one exceptionally high-impact method to foster these capabilities across disciplines. We keep in our curriculum what experiential learning teaches students, which leads them to become entrepreneurs and leaders in their field. Our institute is conducting a value-added course for students. The Techno Cultural Festival is organized to develop team spirit and organizational skills among the students. Knowledge sharing between students is fundamental for successful innovation. Guest lectures, Seminars, workshops, and training programs by Industry experts provide awareness to the students on the latest technologies adopted in the industries.

How does the program ensure that students are being prepared for the future?

The institute focuses on more than the content we teach and instead does more to provide students with learning experiences to build future-ready skills. Technology-related skills, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things, and cyber security courses, also have a greater focus on helping students develop social-emotional learning skills and finding the best ways that we can do this in all of our classrooms. Beyond teaching the content and developing plans based on our student's needs, we have to consider how these emerging trends and other critical skills might impact our students today and in the future. We are preparing them with the right skills to be successful, but we will also make an impact on those with whom they will connect in the future. The experiences we create for our students and the decisions we make will go far beyond our classrooms and our schools. Our impact on them will also impact their future colleagues. Therefore, we must be intentional as we consider how we can prepare students for their next steps and the long term.

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

I am most proud of managing a successful principal for nine years. Our faculty worked tirelessly to ensure that our institute ran smoothly, and it showed in our college's overall benefit to students. The higher-ranking associates even recognized us for our work output. I believe that teamwork will lead to massive success. I consider supervising this team my biggest accomplishment because of the growth and work produced by them. I gained experience on how to be a better principal and employee. After all, a principal is only as strong as the team that they’re leading.

What strategy do you employ for building an efficient work team?

We are establishing every faculty role as the leader of their work. We are improving teamwork in our college at all levels, from management to entry-level staff members. An effective strategy is to adopt an institute-wide open-door policy. We are setting boundaries for most employees and giving direction. "Organize your team around a shared objective, mission, or vision. Set milestones along the way so that team members can see how they're doing.

What was the most challenging task that you faced in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

As a principal, you face daily challenges in handling students from diverse backgrounds and ensuring their well-being. Additionally, you must learn effective strategies for managing staff members and facilitating their productivity. One of the toughest challenges you have encountered is being tasked with handling NAAC, UGC autonomous, and NBA work. Despite receiving training and exposure, understanding the requirements and estimating the necessary efforts proved challenging. However, you ultimately achieved success in the NAAC and UGC Autonomous processes. Currently, your focus lies on securing favorable placements for the students and undertaking NBA work, which remains a challenging task.

What do you find Most difficult about being a Principal?

Both teaching and being a principal are challenging jobs, but they require different skill sets and responsibilities. Teachers are responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing support and guidance to students. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe and positive classroom environment. Principals, on the other hand, are responsible for the overall administration and management of the school. They are responsible for creating and implementing policies, managing budgets, and overseeing the work of teachers and other staff. They also act as the public face of the school and are responsible for building relationships with parents and community members. Both jobs are important and require a lot of dedication and hard work. It is difficult to say which job is harder, as it depends on the individual and their specific job responsibilities.
