Dr. Bethapudi Ratnakanth is currently working as a Professor and Head of, the Department of CSE at Sri Indu Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He is a graduate of B.E from Andhra University in 1997 and obtained his Master of Engineering from Swami RamanandaTeertha Maratwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra in 2000 he was awarded with Ph.D. from Andhra University in the area of Blockchain Technology in 2021. He has Rich experience of 22 years in Teaching Research and administration in various reputed engineering colleges. His area of interest includes Blockchain, Network security, image processing, and the Internet of Things. He has published over 21 papers in national, and international journals and published three patents.

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

One of the most proud moments in my career so far is getting awarded with Ph.D. from Andhra University in the area of blockchain technology and I have published many National and International Journals and papers.

Maintaining good relations and hard work. Building and maintaining good relationships is essential for personal and professional success. Cultivating open communication, trust, and mutual respect forms the foundation of strong connections. In addition, hard work is a cornerstone of achievement, as dedication and diligence contribute significantly to individual and collective goals.

What do you find most difficult about being a HOD?

To maintain patience and look after day-to-day activities. To maintain patience and effectively look after day-to-day activities, it is essential to cultivate a mindful approach. Begin each day with a clear plan, prioritize tasks, and embrace a flexible mindset to adapt to unexpected challenges. Take regular breaks to rejuvenate your energy and avoid feeling overwhelmed. Practice deep breathing or mindfulness techniques during moments of stress to regain composure.

 What is your Vision for Sri Indu Institute of Engineering & Technology in the next Five years?

My Vision for Sri Indu Institute of Engineering & Technology is to become a Private University in the next five years.
