Dr. Sumagna Patnaik is presently working as a Principal at Bhaskar Engineering College, Moinabad, Hyderabad. She has obtained her Ph.D.in Computer Science from the School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Dr. Sumagna has published 50 National & International paper publications. Five patents were published/granted by her. She has guided one research scholar in JNTUH, Hyderabad. She is guiding one research scholar at Bhubaneswar, Orissa. Dr. Sumagna Patnaik worked in various positions such as Dean of P.G. Studies, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dean of IQAC during her tenure at J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology. She organized and attended various seminars and Workshops. She is recognized under the outstanding category for her valuable contribution to preparing the Institution for the Extension of Institutional Autonomy from UGC as well marvelous efforts during the expert team visit to UGC. Dr. Sumagna received the Best Teacher Award for outstanding achievement in the Academic field in the year 2020-21 on the eve of Engineers’ Day from J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology. She is a member of the International Association of Computer Science and Engineering Researchers (IACSER). She was a Jury Member for Innovation. She was selected for the most prestigious International Teacher Award 2020-21, instituted by the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR) which is a registered MSME with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. She received Vidya Ratna Award from C.V. Raman Academy in the year 2019. She is a prestigious member of the Global Directory of Educators and Researchers - an Initiative of the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR) - a registered MSME with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. As NAAC Coordinator she received an appreciation certificate from the J.B. Institute of Engineering Technology.
